Cria Female

Full Peruvian Girl - Sweet As Can Be!
AOA# 36162291  DOB: 6/30/2023  (3 yrs)
Huacaya | Cria Female | Beige | Full Peruvian
Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede
Dam: Alpaca Palace Houdini's Sumthn Else

Thank you, David & Teri at Point of View Alpaca Farm! Her new Beatles name is going to be Michelle (mee shell) my belle, and she’ll be part of their Walk An Alpaca program. I’m sure she will love being on their farm — It’s truly a Beautiful place! Chara is a cutie with a very sweet personality! Chara's conformation is spot on, and she's at a very good weight for her age. As you can see in the photo, she has a very pretty fleece, but she has a touch too many extending primaries, so she's not suitable for the show circuit in our opinion. She'll transfer as a breeder, and she is offered at an incredible price -- she's full Peruvian with outstanding genetics behind her! She was weaned in early December, so she's ready to go. Please contact us for more information. You're also welcome to come see her in person. Registration pending.

AOA# 36296507  DOB: 9/23/2023  (2 yrs)
Huacaya | Cria Female | Bay Black
Sire: Man in the Moon's Rigel
Dam: Estates Keltic Lass

What a pleasant surprise that the pairing of Keltie and Rigel produced black! This cria is spunky and silky soft. And, oh wow, it's hard to take a good photo of a black alpaca! It's very exciting to see that Keket's fleece is starting to develop a pronounced crimp style that's often lacking in black. I'm not exactly surprised knowing the fleece characteristics of both her dam and sire. The handle is amazing, and her fleece is extremely fine, making it difficult for me to assess density, but time will tell. Can't wait to see how this fleece develops after its first shearing! Keket's sire, Man in the Moon's Rigel, is a multiple Champion male, with a solid power packed pedigree known for its prepotency. Rigel championed at the 2024 AOA IFA Grade 2 Fleece Show as a 4-year old with a measured AFD of 20.1! He was also awarded Best Brightness! Keket is currently for sale with her dam at an incredibly good price. Don't wait too much longer, or it may be that Keket's stand-alone price will be more than the pair!

Huacaya | Cria Female | Light Fawn
Sire: Alpaca Palace Legend's Rising Sun
Dam: WP Elite Delilah

Thank you, Hardly Farm, For your purchase of one of my favorite girls! The pairing of Electra's dam and sire, Delilah and Legend's Rising Sun, was the entire reason we purchased her sire, "Sunny." We had planned this breeding long before it happened...and we're sooo very happy with the result! At less than 2 weeks old, we feel sure that Electra will be one of our foundation females. She has solid bone, fabulous fleece (for a cria), and we can't wait to see her 6 months from now. More info coming soon... Registration pending.

Beautiful Brown w/ Black Points!
AOA# 36162284  DOB: 1/1/2024  (2 yrs)
Huacaya | Cria Female | Medium Brown
Sire: Amber Autumn Blue Northern
Dam: STF Night Skye

Born on January 1, she was a fresh start to the new year, so Aurora was chosen as her name. She's a perfect little girl that is taking after her dam -- carbon copy in just about every way! Her dam plays an important role on our farm, not only as a producer, but she's also one of the most laid back and friendly alpacas on the farm. Need a selfie? Want to hug an alpaca? Twinkle Toes, as we call her dam, is the one to help! Aurora is also a keen learner, and she's taking all of these cues from her mom. Aurora's sire is the gray multi-champion male, Amber Autumn Blue Northern. We're looking forward to seeing how her fleece develops! We need to reduce our herd size due to a sudden health issue, so please give us a call or send us an email to inquire, and perhaps we can work something out! Updated photos coming soon, but that will go to the top of our priority list if you are interested in learning more about her.

Huacaya | Cria Female | Light Brown
Sire: Irish Meadows' Corteva
Dam: Stillmeadow Farm Bella's Dream

“Kami” is a sweet girl with a beautiful phenotype, and a very soft fleece. She’s one of the farm favorites. She has a calm and gentle personality, just like her dam. Please contact us for a special package price with her dam, or special pricing for 3 or more alpacas. Note: Her dam has had mastitis several times, and Kami had to be heavily bottle fed. As a result, her dam, Dreamy, is being removed from our breeding program, and she is also for sale. NOTE for OPENHERD AUCTION SALES: Auction reserve is set higher than price, as a fully executed contract is needed to complete the sale.  DOB: 6/24/2023  (3 yrs)
Huacaya | Cria Male | Non-Breeder | White | Full Peruvian
Sire: KCF Magnetar
Dam: Heather's Acre White Diamond

Strong and healthy cria arrived the day we returned from vacation weighing in at 19.2 pounds. The biggest surprise was his color--we were hoping for a fawn (with a medium brown sire), but the color genetics of his dam are apparently locked in at white! Asterion’s conformation isn’t what we’d hoped, as he has a little weakness in his rear legs, so he’s being offered as a fiber male. He has a very nice fleece that should produce awesome fiber for many years to come. Asterion is currently for sale with his dam, however, he can be purchased separately. We're letting him stay with his dam a little longer than usual, as he's very attached to her and she won't be rebred until Spring, but he can be weaned at any time.

AOA# 36296460  DOB: 11/4/2023  (2 yrs)
Huacaya | Cria Male | Dark Fawn
Sire: Man in the Moon's Rigel
Dam: Snowmass Bells of Piana

Sold, but with retained breedings, and we will show him with his new owner. Congratulations to John and Susan of JLS Alpacas! I absolutely hated to sell this guy, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Castor is turning out really well, and we couldn’t be more pleased! So, this guy came a wee bit early along with floppy ears and crooked legs. All of that has straightened out, and his fleece is just amazing! It appears that he has loads of density and crimp. Can’t wait to see him develop! He is promising indeed, but we'd expect nothing else from his dam and sire. His dam is Snowmass Bells of Piana, a Loro Piana daughter, and her pairing with Man in the Moon's Rigel, a CCNF Leviathan son, is phenomenal! We wanted to turn around and do it again right away, but...Bell's has had two preemies in the Fall two years in a row, so we decided to wait until Spring. Even though both offspring have done very well, it's harder on the humans to tend to preemies when it's cold outside, and we must consider that the weather may have been hard on Bells, too, causing the premature births. Soooo, we wait with anticipation for her next cria to come in Spring 2025. It will be a repeat, for sure!!!

AOA# 36296477  DOB: 11/4/2023  (2 yrs)
Huacaya | Cria Male | Beige
Sire: Alpaca Palace Legend's Rising Sun
Dam: Ganymede's Dark Star of MMFA

Think this guy might be a good one! Initially, it was hard to ascertain density, but after just a few weeks it’s very apparent in the fleece just next to his skin — very fine with excellent handle and quite dense relative to fineness. Pollux's fleece is what I'd describe as "silky" but so was his dam's when she was born, as were all of the offspring from his dam's maternal line. They tend to take some time to develop, but that second fleece is usually filled with lots of crimp. His sire, Legends Rising Sun, has incredible matchstick bundles full of a well-defined crimp and brightness, and he's maintaining uniformity and fineness across his blanket. His histogram at 5.9 YEARS old is phenomenal with a Grade 1 fleece! We had the opportunity to see 2 of his first offspring at the 2022 Buckeye Fall Fest and they were stunning! If there had been a third offspring there, he probably would have had a good shot at winning Get of Sire. And, we got to see a 3rd offspring at the 2023 Buckeye Fall Fest (belonging to none other than Randy Strong, and Barb Sodums of Strong Shepherd Alpacas)! Randy assisted in the herd dispersal of Alpaca Palace, and he now says we got a steal of a deal on Rising Sun. I agree. Rising Sun is making phenomenal offspring!!! Thank you, Lori Tanner, for your purchase of Pollux!

Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede
Dam: Stillmeadow Farm Bella's Dream

Vega’s growing into a beautiful young female with a lovely fleece and excellent conformation. Her fleece has very good fineness, character, and uniformity. She’s also curious and sweet like her dam. Vega was sold to a client in New Jersey, and unfortunately, she is once again for sale, along with her friend, Luna. (See packages.) She is currently located in New Jersey, for those of you who may be interested in looking at her. Please contact me for more information. Vega’s genetics are top of the line! Her sire is the 2017 AOA National Supreme Light Male Champion, who’s producing Champions and Judges Choice offspring. Her dam is also a multiple Champion producer. Huacaya | Yearling Female | Medium Fawn
Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede
Dam: CNTRL Matrix's Carmella

Beautiful fleece on this little girl!!! Her fleece has impressive crimp, bundles and density! Without a doubt, her fleece was the best Spring 2023 cria fleece on the farm. Her dam was rebred to Ganymede with hopes of an encore for 2024, and her full sibling, Man in the Moon's Crux, arrived on 6/22/24. We think he's got the full package...can't wait to see how he develops! Unfortunately, Cassia’s been diagnosed with a serious heart murmur, so we’ve decided not to breed her, and she’s going to live with our good friend Abigail Pierson and four other sweet alpacas.

Service Sire: Man in the Moon’s Zenon

She’s a beautiful girl with bright crimpy fleece! Her fleece is bundled in tight little matchsticks with a high frequency, high amplitude crimp. It's extremely fine with a wonderful hand. Just loving how this girl is turning out! We are reducing the size of our herd, so Lila is currently for sale. She will make a nice foundation female, and she has a lovely personality, too. Congratulations to the Calderwood’s for their purchase of Lila!! Lila's sire, “Sunny”, has the softest fleece I may have ever sunk my hands into — the soft staples break into little match stick bundles with beautiful crimp from skin to tip. Sunny's fleece is amazing at almost 6 years old! His 2023 histogram puts his fleece stats at 18.5 micron with only 0.4 % over 30 microns and an SD of 3.8! Check him out on his webpage through the link above...he's producing excellent progeny! Of only a few offspring (6 so far), one just garnered his second Championship as a 2-year old at the 2024 CAC Show - Alpaca Palace Superman. Add a breeding to any herdsire for just $1000 more.

After an incredibly lengthy gestation (383 days), this young lady decided to present herself to the world! We are so thankful she is here. Her birth weight was a whopping 23 pounds. Last year, her dam had her cria at exactly 335 days. What a difference! Both dam and cria are doing well. Libby’s fleece is gorgeous! Can’t wait for her fiber to grow out—it’s like popcorn! LOVE what Venus and Rigel produced! A repeat breeding of the pair has been consumated! Looking forward to a full sibling in Spring 2026. Gentle Fiber Male
 DOB: 11/26/2024  (1 yr)
Huacaya | Yearling Male | Medium Fawn
Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede
Dam: RR Rose Fiona

What can I say? Copernicus has the perfect personality, and he has that teddy bear look with excellent conformation. He’s gentle and easy to handle. At 15 months old, he decided that eating treats from people‘s hands is an OK thing to do. We like him a lot! As Copernicus’ fleece is coming in, length is excellent. Crimp development is very good. Would like to see more density. It’s soft and lovely, and it will make beautiful yarn, but it’s just not competitive enough to show or use in our breeding program, though the genetics are certainly there. Copernicus is out of two treasures: His dam is a Futurity Champion that has produced some notable offspring, and his sire is the 2017 AOA National Supreme Light Male Champion. The genetics couldn’t be better and he can be registered! Must have other young male alpacas, or can be sold in a group of 3. Procyon has a strong and boxy frame. His fleece is bright, fine, and carries a very nice crimp structure with uniformity from front to back, and into his extremities. However, his fleece does need more density, so we’ve reluctantly decided to let him go. His sire is the 2016 AOA National Supreme Champion light male, SSKY Castellanos. His dam is one of our prized females, and she is the daughter of the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion light male, Man in the Moon‘s Peruvian Ganymede. The genetics are there! Sire: Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius
Dam: Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Speranza

Sierra is the full Allianza-Accoyo peruvian daughter of Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius, a truly elite white male full accoyo multi-blue ribbon, color champion and Judge's Choice winner at top shows around the country. Her heritage includes alpaca greats such as Vengador, Sir Peruvian Accoyo Odyssey, PPeruvian Felix, and NWA LTD Predictor. Sierra is a beautiful girl in her own right with gorgeous bright white fleece and conformation. At 2 years old, her 2013 AFD was 18.1 micron with 0.7%>30. At over 4 years old, it's still a fine Grade 2. Sierra definitely should have been shown. Unfortunately, as brand new alpaca owners we hadn't figured out the logistics.

AOA# 32757361  DOB: 9/12/2013  (13 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Proven | Medium Silver Grey | 7/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Chilean
Sire: North Penn Kimber
Dam: Derwydd Peruvian Chilchu
Service Sire: 2AF Peruvian Zeus

This girl is at the top of her class! Open up that fleece and it is simply stunning! It has a tight crimp style that is fine and extremely uniform with excellent definition and brightness. Her fiber is dense with a long staple. This is one that will break my heart to sell...she's one of our best and sweetest. The judge had to make a "sandwich" to compare Charice to the blue ribbon winner before making her final decision at VAOBA. It was that close --- and Charice got 2nd place at the stiff 2014 VAOBA show as the youngest in her class. WP Cora Cora is the dynamo that beat her out -- she has at least 4 banners and 6 blues from her first show season. At 2014 MABA, Charice placed 3rd right behind the Color and Reserve Color Champions! Charice is foundation material all the way. Charice is a PHENOMENAL mother. With her first cria, Janusz, she knew just what to do. This little boy came into this world strong and quick --- he was on his feet in less than 15 minutes and nursing in less than an hour. Janusz is out of WP Verticase's Vector, a fine light brown herdsire out of Quechua's Verticase and Snowmass Nova's Cayara, and he is doing well in our show string. Charice will be bred Spring 2018 to 2AF Peruvian Zeus, a sire that typically throws the color of dam, so we are expecting a grey from this breeding. Zeus is a medium fawn herdsire who's first crop of offspring to hit the show ring received 1st Place, Color Champion and went on to Judges Choice in BROWN! And Zeus' 2nd offspring received 1st Place, Color Champion and went on to Judges Choice in White, followed by many other Judges Choice banners AND the AOA National Light Supreme Champion! That 2017 AOA National Supreme Champ is owned by Man in the Moon Farm -- Peruvian Ganymede!!! We are willing to take $1000 off without this breeding if you prefer to breed her to your own stud, but we feel she is already priced well below her true value. (Not that it's always indicative...but we purchased her for quite a lot more and she's proven her value in the ring, in her retained fleece characteristics, and in her offspring). Additional photos and fleece samples available for serious inquirers.

Sire Royal Rose! '18 SF 17.3 - SOLD!
AOA# 35420446  DOB: 8/26/2016  (10 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Proven | Light Brown | Full Peruvian
Sire: SNOWMASS ROYAL ROSE
Dam: SA Peruvian Alivia
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede

Price includes Fall '18 breeding to Ganymede! WP Royal Lyvi' is a special girl who's maintaining her elite fleece stats at 18.0 AFD/3.5 SD/19.5 CV/0.7 %>30 (2018) with a Spin Fineness of 17.3. We expect Lyvi to hold her fineness just like her amazing parents. Her pricing reflects the fact that Man in the Moon Farm is going light -- we're breeding for light and white fiber, so even our best darks are now for sale at super prices. Purchase at least one more alpaca from MMFA, and we can negotiate an even better price. As soon as she's ready, Lyvi may be bred to Ganymede, the 2017 AOA Light Male National Supreme Champion, multiple Color Champion & 4X Judge's Choice recipient. Lyvi has excellent staple length and a Royal Grade 1 fiber with a lovely handle and brightness. Her pedigree is stellar with potential to produce some amazing results in her future offspring. Her breeding to Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede is just a super bonus on top of that. He is an amazing boy -- his show record and his skin biopsy results indicate that he possesses strong and desirable fiber traits that he's likely to pass to his offspring. This breeding should add density and character, and lock it all in place -- fineness, uniformity, consistency, brightness, and staple length! Lyvi's sire, Snowmass Royal Rose, was one of Snowmass's top producing males and is known for his fine fleece charateristics and his ability to pass it on to his offspring. With over 2000 registered descendants in this country, this seminal son of Hemingway carries thoroughly proven genetics that have stood the test of time. He is permanently closed to outside breedings. Lyvi is definitely a reflection of her Sire's elite progeny! Lyvi's dam, SA Peruvian Alivia, is a prime example of a breeding dam that has retained a high quality uniform fleece. She holds a Baby Grade 2 fleece, with only 1.9%>30 at 7 years old. Alivia is out of the great SA Peruvian Apollo, an impact herdsire with more than 180 registered offspring and hundreds of descendants from there.

AOA# 31791205  DOB: 2/17/2010  (16 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Proven | Light Fawn | Full Peruvian
Sire: PPPERUVIAN ROYAL FAWN 6014
Dam: KGG ISIS
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede

Thank You, Leigh Ann Combs! Dancer has fawn, brown, and gray in her pedigree. She is a pleasing light fawn PPPeruvian Royal Fawn daughter who has perfect conformation on a solid frame. She has a fabulous disposition and is great with her cria -- easy birther with plenty of milk and very attentive mom. She's been bred to GANYMEDE, a 4x Judges Choice and 11x Color Champion that is also the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion! We're certain this breeding will improve on Dancer -- Ganymede has offered huge improvements on his crias over the dams thus far. We're hopeful he'll pull through some of his amazing character into this cria's fleece. We're pretty confident he'll bring fineness, micron uniformity and staple length. Ultrasound confirmed positive on 9/9/19. UPDATE: Wow! What a gorgeous little guy out of Ganymede! Born 5/16/2020. Strong and fabulous from the start. Congrats Leigh Ann & Eric! Dancer's sire, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, was a full Accoyo male with a history of passing on his fine-fibered genetics to his 406 offspring. Consistent show winners and high sellers, his progeny boast 108 known champions and 329 blue ribbons in every solid color group. Hand selected by the late Dr. Jim Vickers, Royal Fawn was the only light fawn Accoyo ever exported from Don Julio Barreda’s herd. According to Julio Barreda, Royal Fawn ranked as one better than he had ever produced at Estancia Accoyo in Peru. PPPeruvian Royal Fawn was the 1999 and 2000 "Get-of-Sire" winner at the AOBA National Show, and record breaking highest selling male in alpaca history in October, 2005.

SOLD - Girl Out of SM Black Out!
AOA# 32614329  DOB: 6/1/2012  (14 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Proven | Dark Brown
Sire: Snowmass Black Out
Dam: Snowmass Vicuna Sunrise
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede

Snowmass Vicuna Sunset XX, or "Sunny" as we call her, is a very well put together dark brown female out of Snowmass Black Out! Her dam is Snowmass Vicuna Sunrise, who brings lines in from Snowmass XXXtreme, Snowmass Andean Bronze, and Peruvian Hemingway. She has a very nice handle to her fine fleece, and a very good staple length (>4") at 5 years old. She has a beautiful consistent color with black points and excellent confirmation. We did place Sunny in a pen with Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede the week of June 18, 2017, when we were trying to get him interested in breeding. We weren't aware that he had shown any interest; however, due to subsequent behavior testing and based on a progesterone test in early December (level of 4.1 -- too high for a retained CL), we're wondering if it worked. We'll have her ultra-sounded sometime in March to confirm. We're happy to have this done prior to then upon request. Her service sire, Ganymede, is the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion. He is an elite white that Championed in every show he attended during the 2016-2017 Show Season, bringing home 12 Banners and 4 Judges Choice Banners...He is an amazing boy -- his show record and his skin biopsy results indicate that he possesses strong and desirable fiber traits that he's likely to pass to his offspring. Lasting fineness, uniformity of micron, amazing crimp and character will be the result of this breeding. I am sure. Sunny is primarily Peruvian. We found an Australian herdsire with no additional info behind him 5 generations back. We also found a dam 5 generations back with Chilean heritage. Everyone else in her pedigree is Peruvian.

Thank you, Jessie Moyer! I know you'll love this sweet girl and take good care of her -- It breaks my heart to let her go! Her female cria out of Ganymede arrived on 9/20/21 and she has those rolls down the back of her neck = density! See Gemma''s webpage for more info. Unfortunately, Elite Maxine was unable to deliver this little girl, nor the one before her, so she is selling as a non-breeder. She won't be able to leave the farm until Gemma is weaned early this Spring. Elite Maxine is a sweet and beautiful girl! We prefer to sell Maxine to a farm already having prior experience with alpacas. However, we are ready and willing to mentor new alpaca owners -- as long as you understand that she must be part of a herd (which means a minimum of 3 alpacas, and preferably 5 or more). We can assist you with putting your herd together. Note: Interested? Please give us a call to discuss.

Dam: Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Bianca

Thank you, Fox Wire Farm at Toano, for purchasing this beautiful girl! Callista shares the same dam as our 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion male, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede. And, she is out of Best Man's Elite Reflection, a banner winning herdsire out of the renowned Snowmass Best Man, who now resides in Switzerland. Callista's fleece is extremely soft and fine with EPD's all in the single digits. It has great character, and it's bundling quite nicely with excellent brightness and a very nice crimp style. Callista's growing into a beautiful girl!!!... When it comes time to breed this girl, you can bet we'll be taking her to 2AF Peruvian Zeus, with the hope of repeating Ganymede...the genetics would be 3/4 the same! Purchase her now without a breeding and take her there yourself! Should you decide not to take her to Zeus, we'd recommend taking her to Man in the Moon's Prometheus. He's one of our up and coming Color Champion yearlings that we hope will start breeding in 2018 (...not that Callista will be ready by then...just sayin')! Prometheus is scrumptious -- and he's from an amazing lineage -- out of WP Elite Delilah (probably our very best dam) and Sunset Hills Zagato (a powerhouse Get of Sire winning herdsire that has many Banners, including Judges Choice, and has produced multiple champion offspring)!

Sire: Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol

At 13 years old, ACGA Carla is in excellent condition and carries an SF (spin fineness) of 22.4 and only 6.6%>30... phenomenal stats for black! 5X Color Champion out of Jericho!
AOA# 31300759  DOB: 4/10/2008  (18 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Proven | Dark Fawn | 7/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Bolivian
Sire: MFI Peruvian Jericho
Dam: Sunset Hills' Sanibel

For a 13 year old, I think Tanzie is one of the most beautiful girls in the pasture. We've made the decision to sell Tanzie as a non-breeder. She's a really sweet girl but she just hasn't had any luck in the production department. We prefer to sell Tanzie to a farm already having prior experience with alpacas. However, we are ready and willing to mentor new alpaca owners -- as long as you understand that she must be part of a herd (which means a minimum of 3 alpacas, and preferably 5 or more). Thank you, Jessie Moyer! Note: Interested? Please give us a call to discuss.

Huacaya | Female | Dark Fawn
Sire: NM Beethoven
Dam: Otter Creek Delilah

CONGRATS to Funky Fleece Farm for their purchase of Dahlia! We're pleased to have STF Dahlia in our 2018/19 show string! She's a gorgeous girl, and her juvie fleece just took 2nd Place in the July '18 AOA National Fleece Extravaganza under Judge Wini Labreque. In addition, she's placed 1st or 2nd in all of her halter shows! In addition, she's just a super calm and sweet alpaca. She carries some powerhouse genetics. Her sire, NM Beethoven, is a 12X Champion, with his wins representing the opinions of ten different judges. They all agreed that his strong & balanced bone structure, and his dense, bright fiber were deserving of his incredible string of championships. His offspring inherit his density and the consistency of fiber architecture which the judges comment on consistently, and it's been proven out with more than 62% of his offspring bringing in the blue ribbon, and more than 34% garnering Championships! Due to her darker genetics, she is for sale. She's one you should certainly take a look at if you're interested in showing her now, and adding her to your foundation. Her second fleece is coming in, and she's looking pretty NICE!!!

One to Watch for Sure! SOLD
AOA# 35157663  DOB: 9/6/2018  (8 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Unproven | White | Full Peruvian
Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede
Dam: SA Peruvian Alivia

Congrats to Amanda, Trae & Ady! What a sweet and lovely girl! First impressions are that this little white female is going to be amazing! Strong bone, fine bright fleece, density and wonderful crimpy cria curls! This one was hard to part with for sure! Her dam, SA Peruvian Alivia, is one of our favorites on the farm, and this little girl is quickly falling into the same category. Alivia is out of the great SA Peruvian Apollo, an impact herdsire with more than 180 registered offspring and hundreds of descendants from there. He obviously received and passed on the amazing genetics of his parents, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014 and PPPeruvian Aphrodite 5070, both direct imports that have contributed greatly to the positive progression of the alpaca industry today. Summer's incredible herdsire, GANYMEDE, is the 2017 AOA National Light Male Supreme Champion! 4X Judge's Choice + 11X Color Champion + 1X Best Bred & Owned at 29 months old & breeding! His fleece is the same ALL over! And, we're pretty sure he's passing it on! Ganymede has an advanced elite fleece, indeed, and a gorgeous, boxy conformation. Judges called it early on...and he achieved top honors at the 2017 AOA National Show as the Supreme Champion Light Huacaya Male, including the White Invited Male Color Championship, bringing his total to 11X Color Championships and 4X Judges Choice awards (PAOBA, CABO, TxOLAN, Nationals)...a Banner for every show he attended in the 2016/2017 show season! Ganymede has an amazing fleece with an unbelievable structure and density. He exhibits a tight little zipper crimp with extreme uniformity, matchstick bundling, brightness and fineness across his fleece...the character lasting well down into his legs and belly. This is what the Judges have said: "his fleece is the same from skin to tip, back to front, all over..." ...he is "the same...all over." This is exactly what you want to hear.

RIP Sweet Girl Dixie 9/8/13 - 12/20/20
AOA# 32636451  DOB: 9/8/2013  (13 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Proven | Light Brown | 3/4 Peruvian, 1/4 Chilean
Sire: MFI Peruvian Titan's Clash
Dam: Sandhill Elvira
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Prometheus

Thank You, Heidi & Joshua! Dixie's pedigree is stacked with black and gray! She delivered a very nice female cria, Astra, on 5/31/20! This little girl was drinking from the milk bar before she could even stand! Astra, already exhibits very nice fleece qualities with lots of little curls. And, did I say that her eyelashes are amazing?!...She's going to be a very pretty female! Dixie's a beautiful girl with a lovely personality, and she also has good fleece qualities that she's passing on to her progeny. Her histogram is indicative of uniformity, and her stats are very good. Dixie is one of those girls that is a pleasure to have on the farm, and she's shown to be an excellent momma. Her last cria, Telesto, sold at his first show. Astra's sire, GANYMEDE, is a 12x Banner, 4x Judges Choice male that also happens to be the 2017 AOA National Supreme Light Male Champion! Take a look at Ganymede's web page. He only has a few cria on the ground at this point, but we are extremely pleased with what we're seeing. He's passing on excellent crimp, uniformity across the blanket, and fineness! Dixie's been exposed to Man in the Moon's Prometheus for a Spring 2021 cria. Prometheus is an excellent banner winning male out of Sunset Hills Zagato and WP Elite Delilah (who is out of The Elite Maximus). He's just starting his breeding career and we're very excited to see what he can do. He has a beautiful staple length and crimp style, and we think he'll also be a good match for Dixie. Dixie's sire, MFI Peruvian Titan's Clash, is full Peruvian and 3/4 Accoyo, sired by 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan with PPPeruvian Dracula as maternal grandsire. He has 150 registered offspring, and it's no wonder, with his phenomenal fiber and perfect conformation. Sweet Dixie's life was tragically cut short when a tree limb fell on her following an ice storm. RIP sweet girl!

AOA# 35379027  DOB: 10/13/2018  (7 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Medium Fawn | Full Peruvian
Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede
Dam: TWF Peruvian Sarafina

From day 1; we called Elara a "keeper!" We thought long and hard about listing her for sale. Elara's full sister, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ayla (SOLD), championed as a yearling at her first show, the 2020 VAOBA Derby Fawn Female Color Champion! Elara’s fleece character is shining through with uniformity and fineness that carries across her blanket, down into the belly and legs! Elara's conformation is spot on, with a well-balanced frame made for production. With her dark toenails, eyelashes, and nose, she'll fit into a light or color breeding program. Elara participated in her first shows, and we were very pleased with the judges comments, recognizing the consistency and uniformity of her fleece across the blanket, and from skin to tip. These genetics are powerful! Elara's sire is the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, carries some important genetics, including the likes of 382 Peruvian Zephyrus, who was the 2005 Futurity Reserve Herdsire of the Year. Ganymede garnered 4 Judges Choice banners and Championed in every show he attended from 10 months old on (for a total of 11). The Judges repeatedly said: "He's the clear winner!" and "He's the SAME All Over!...from skin to tip, from front to back!" He is SPECTACULAR and we're pretty sure he's passed all of his outstanding qualities to Elara! We expect great things from this remarkable girl! Elara's dam, TWF Peruvian Sarafina, has a consistent uniform crimp and fineness across her blanket. She has a soft handle, great density, and a very good staple length. She's just a beautiful girl...Her genetics are also impressive. Sarafina's sire, TWF Peruvian Embosser (Odyssey, Godfather, Vengador, Royal Fawn) passed on his elite fleece, handle, staple and coverage. Her dam, TWF Peruvian Saffron (Felix, Accoyo Express) also passed on her dense, bright fleece. Elara had been bred to WP Elite Maximillion. You learn some things the hard way -- she began acting quite uncomfortable the day we gave her a Vit AD injection, and she aborted at 5 months the next morning. Unfortunately, Maximillion passed unexpectedly and we missed our window for a Fall 2020 breeding. So Elara will be bred in Spring 2021 for her first cria. Purchase her now and choose the herdsire. Our recommendation would be either QR Ice Man or Man in the Moon's Rigel (if he's ready), who just won his first Championship in November 2020 at the VAOBA Expo under Judge Wade Gease. Note: MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas. Let us know what you're looking for and we can help you find the right package within your budget.

Pretty little girl! We can tell already that she'll inherit the perfect and strong conformation of her parents, and we doubt she'll be a little girl as she is now 75 pounds at 6 months old. Thank you, Shelley & Ken Devault! This is a great selection for your foundation herd! Can already feel the density and curls on this sweet little girl! Halley's dam is out of Snowmass XXXtreme, bringing quite a bit of color into this pedigree. Her sire is a multi-Champion who also carries the relatively rare distinction of holding an AOA National Supreme Championship. Even with this pedigree, we're quite curious how her fleece will turn out. We can't wait to see what emerges in her first full fleece.

Thank you, Shelley & Ken! She's a beautiful girl! Yep. Fine, fine, fine. In medium brown with black points! Oh, wow does her fleece feel good! This little girl is starting out as a "silky", but so did her full sister -- her fleece character is just starting to show! Her dam carries a very fine fleece as an "older" girl, and she also carries an extremely long fiber as an "older" girl. We think Calypso will carry the same, along with very nice fleece character, well into her "older" years.

Thank you, Meadowgate Alpacas! Woot Woot! Love this Little Girl! We had consigned Ayla to the Parade of Champions Auction, but COVID interrupted that plan, so we're happy we've been able to see her mature...Ayla's well grown for her age and she's turning into a gorgeous girl with beautiful character to her fleece! She certainly didn’t let us down in her first halter show — receiving a First Place and Color Championship at the 2020 VAOBA Derby under Judge Amanda Vandenbosh! See more info on her amazing herdsire, Ganymede, on his web page. He was the the 2017 AOA National Light Male Supreme Champion and is a 4x Judges Choice male! A Banner for every show he attended in the 2016/2017 show season! Thank you, Shelley & Ken DeVault! I'm glad we get to keep her until she's weaned. So excited that Ganymede has produced grey! This is not just any grey, but a grey female out of a light brown dam (and Ganymede is white...). Yes, her dam does have some grey in her pedigree, but pretty thrilled that it was passed through by Gany. Proxima, or Proxi as we call her, is a strong and vibrant cria that's growing like a weed. She was cria tipped in July, so we're looking forward to seeing this fleece in a few months!

Huacaya | Female | White
Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede
Dam: Snowmass Loro Lilly

Thank you, Fred & Jane for your purchase! We suggest breeding Celestial Moonlight to Ice Man by Kingfish. We believe these genetics will produce a superb outcome for the resultant offspring. We're excited about this cross with Elite Legend on both sides! In her only show, as a juvie, "Celeste" brought home two Blue Ribbons in the 2020 VAOBA Expo and the 2020 VAOBA Fall Derby halter classes. She has a very nice fleece and she is well grown for her age. Celeste carries the incredibly potent genetics of her amazing dam and sire, and she'll be an extremely good production female. Her dam, Snowmass Loro Lilly, is the offspring of a phenomenal herdsire, Snowmass Loro Piana, who is in the top 1% EPD's for AFD & SF, and top 10% for SDAFD. Loro Piana was the best producer of fineness at Snowmass, and it is a lasting fineness – he had a 16 micron fleece at age five. Loro Lilly’s fleece has good density, and she carries very good staple length. Loro Lilly also has a gorgeous frame with substance of bone and overall phenotype. Her sire, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, is a 15X Banner winner, including 4X Judges Choice male and the 2017 AOA National Supreme Light Male Champion! See his webpage for more info. Dam: ELK Clash's Dixie Girl

Thank You, Heidi & Joshua of Ever After Alpaca Farm!! Beautiful cria that was nursing before she could even stand! Strong & healthy with a fine, curly little fleece. I'm going to let her fleece grow out a bit to decide whether Astra is medium or dark brown; then register. She's definitely quite a bit darker than her dam at the skin. Astra's a spunky little girl...and sweet as can be! While we're pleased that Astra's sire is showing himself to be quite capable of throwing color, we're always surprised when his offspring end up two or three shades darker than the dam. MMFA is breeding for white, light, and fawn alpacas; however, we're always thrilled to offer color for those who are interested. Astra is for sale, though she can't leave the farm until she's weaned (typically at 6 months or 60 pounds)... come see her. Make an offer.

Huacaya | Female | White | Full Peruvian

Congratulations to Gia and Jim Barger for their purchase of our beautiful Arielle! Gosh, I hated to part with her...already had plans for her 2022 breeding! Gia — Rigel would be an excellent match...just saying! WOW! One fleece shot is on the first day and the other taken in early January 2021! As has been true of each of her dam's crias, Arielle was a standout right from the beginning, and as her fleece develops it continues to get better and better -- just like her sire's did...We expect Arielle to be an outstanding foundation female with her sire, Ganymede, being a 4X Judges Choice, including the 2017 AOA National Light Male Supreme Champion, and her dam being a stellar offspring of The Elite Maximus. Arielle's fleece is fine and consistent with very good staple length. (She was cria shorn on 7/9/20.) Her fleece character and bundling is just now starting to develop. She has great conformation and she's well grown for her age with a beautiful head style. We're quite certain Arielle will be capable of throwing color, just as her sire has. She has one fawn spot at her right front armpit. We can't wait to show this girl off! Arielle will make her debut at the 2021 Buckeye Alpaca Show in late March. Come take a peek at her! Arielle’s dam, WP Elite Delilah, has lasting fineness and is maintaining a fleece to die for even after producing 4 crias ( all blue ribbon and Champion winners) for us. Her fleece still looks beautiful and carries a very good length. We’re sure Arielle will be yet another ribbon producer that maintains a beautiful fleece as she matures and produces her own champions! Arielle's sire, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, championed at every show he attended from 10 months old on. He achieved 15 banners, including 4 Judges Choice which culminated with the 2017 AOA National Supreme Championship -- he's an amazing male, and he's producing champions! His fleece is still beautiful and consistent at 18.3 microns as a breeding male, with uniformity across his blanket and extending down into his belly and legs. Judges repeatedly said, "...he is the SAME all over!" Arielle is a sweet girl to take your breeding program to the next level! She'll definitely be at the next show we attend -- hopefully Buckeye. We have our fingers crossed that Covid will start settling down soon. We welcome you to come see her on the farm if you'd like. Just give us a call, or send us a text or email. Arielle comes with a breeding of your choice to any solely owned herdsire at time of purchase. Note: MMFA offers our best pricing for a package of 3 or more alpacas.

Huacaya | Female | Beige | Full Peruvian
Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede
Dam: Stillmeadow Farm Zahra Bella

Thank you, West Penn Alpacas—and then, Nash Hill Alpacas—for your purchase of this beautiful girl! Beautiful girl, incredible genetics! Since we don’t own her dam, we had planned to retain Cyllene for our breeding program -- at least until she had a few crias for us! Unfortunately for us, our original POC entry had a mishap that will keep him from participating in the auction this year, and Cyllene will step up to take his place. (Don't be too concerned about her predecessor -- he'll be okay, but he somehow knocked out a couple of teeth!) Cyllene has a gorgeous fleece that exhibits fineness with density, length, and an incredibly nice crimp style that's bundling into little matchsticks. She was a bit of a sleeper at first, but look at her fleece character at five months old and then at 10 months old! We really can't wait to see what her fleece will look like after it's first shearing -- we expect phenomenal! Cyllene has perfect conformation with strong bone, a beautiful head style, and a perfect bite. She’s the full package — genetics, fleece, conformation. A true foundation female we would love to keep on our farm. We really have no doubt Cyllene will follow closely in the footsteps of her 4X Judges Choice & National Supreme Champion sire, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede! Her half brother, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Cosmos, was just barely old enough to compete when he won the white male Reserve Champion at the Fall 2020 VAOBA Expo! Dam: Heather's Acre White Diamond

This beautiful girl is AVAILABLE again!! Please take a look at PALLOYALPACA.com. Breeding not included, but we can offer a great price on a breeding to any of our herdsires. SOLD to Farm and Fleece of Concord, NC! Congratulations to them and Palloy Alpaca! Maia is the first offspring of her dam, Diamond, and her sire is the 15X Banner winning, AOA National Supreme Champion, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede. Maia's fleece has abundant character, brightness, and fineness; and her conformation is excellent. Her frame is boxy and upright with straight legs and a great bite -- she's curious and sweet! There's no doubt that Maia will be a very fine foundation female. Maia sells with her maiden breeding to any MMFA herdsire of your choosing (take $500 off price to purchase without breeding). We'd recommend one of our Matrix Majesty line males, Man in the Moon's Rigel. Wade Gease first described his fleece as "diamond-like." He is currently a 5X Champion (with more shows to go) and he has a very bright fleece with a magnificent crimp, extreme fineness and uniformity across his blanket. Maia's sire, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, championed at every show he attended from 10 months old on. He achieved 15 banners, including 4 Judges Choice which culminated with the 2017 AOA National Supreme Championship -- he's an amazing male, and he's producing champions! His fleece is still beautiful with excellent character, consistency and fineness as a breeding male, with uniformity across his blanket and extending down into his belly and legs. Judges repeatedly said, "...he is the SAME all over!" Maia's dam is from the well known white breeding program, Heather's Acre Alpaca Farm, and her superlative genetics run deep. Maia's dam comes from great Accoyo's such as Vengador, Pucara, Odyssey, Quechua, Accoyocusani and Aga Khan. Her sire yields the Alianza greats such as Bueno, Predictor, Royal Fawn and Zephyrus; as well as more Accoyo greatness.

True Black Zagato Girl! Ready to Breed!
AOA# 35401452  DOB: 6/21/2020  (6 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | True Black | Full Peruvian
Sire: Sunset Hills Zagato
Dam: Andean Night's Peruvian Antoinette

Thank you, Fred & Jane, for your purchase of this girl from elite genetics! A black fleeced female out of Sunset Hill's Zagato is a relatively rare thing. Her black half-brother, Zagato's Jay-Z, is quite the stud, but don't know too many other blacks out of Zagato. Zophia's fleece is incredibly fine and consistent--good characteristics to pass on in black! The dark in her pedigree appears to come from 4Peruvian Andean Gold on the maternal side with a lot of fawn all over her pedigree. What does it mean? We're not exactly sure but what if we can introduce Ganymede's fleece style and breed that offspring for black...!!! Ganymede has been quite successful in passing along color--producing brown with black points when paired with a medium fawn dam that didn't show any black in her pedigree. We have yet to breed him to anything darker than light brown. We have a little time to decide. We could also choose to breed her to our fawn 5X Color Champion CCNF Leviathan son, Man in the Moon's Rigel, or our 3X Champion KCF Isidoro son, KCF Magnetar. Or, shall we turn to deep black or gray genetics? Well...now it's up to Fred & Jane, but we'll help them as much as they'd like, to decide the best breeding for their future.

Huacaya | Female | Bay Black
Sire: A Paca Fun's Sonic Fyre
Dam: A PACA FUN'S EMBERS

Phoenix has a lovely little fleece -- nice character and very good fineness. All we need to do now is add a little density. We think we might know a herdsire here that can do that! We also can't wait to see how her next fleece comes in...shearing is right around the corner. We purchased this young female while at the Buckeye show in March. She's only one of two black alpacas currently in our herd and only one of two that carry gray genetics... Don't get any wild ideas here -- we won't be breeding for gray! -- but if we happen to produce one or two incidentally, we won't be upset, especially since we know we have at least one herdsire that's produced gray with very little to be seen in the female pedigree and none at all to be seen in his. We find that gray alpacas are snatched up quickly...so they will be for sale. And...I think I heard somebody say that black alpacas are hard to photograph? Yep, they are.

Bred to Ganymede! U/S Positive
AOA# 36119653  DOB: 10/2/2021  (4 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Light Fawn | Full Peruvian
Sire: Mary's Prince Waldemar
Dam: TWF Peruvian Sarafina
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede

Hate to let this girl go!! Talitha has been paired with Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, and we are truly looking forward to this match! Talitha's mom always produced great offspring when paired with Ganymede. (UPDATE: Talitha delivered a 16.7 pound light fawn female with absolutely amazing fleece on 6/5/26. I’m so jealous. Congratulations Todd & Erin Carrell!) Ganymede is a 4X Judges Choice recipient, and he was the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion. He has produced a number of multi-Champion and Judges Choice offspring. One of those is part owned by CasCadNac Farm, (CCNF) one of the premier alpaca farms in the US! At 20.7 pounds at birth, Talitha is just what we ordered -- a fawn, female cria out of the pairing of our Sarafina and Prince Waldemar! Caligula, Royal Fawn, Royal Avenger and Vengador are just a few of her well-known ancestors. Talitha's dam, TWF Sarafina, was one of our foundation females -- in addition to being an easy breeder, great mom with plenty of milk, and having a friendly personality, Sarafina always delivered nice crias. Talitha just happens to be her 4th fawn female offspring. We have recently sold Sarafina and we have every expectation that Talitha will serve us well as her replacement in our foundation herd -- we certainly hope so -- we plan to breed her to Ganymede because Sarafina and Ganymede always produced amazing crias!!! NOTE for OPENHERD AUCTION SALES: Auction reserve is set higher than price, as a fully executed contract is needed to complete the sale. Please give us a call or send an email if you're interested in any of our Openherd auction offers. Note: MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas. Let us know what you're looking for and we can help you find the right package within your budget.

Elixir x Matrix Genetics!
AOA# 35418665  DOB: 11/18/2020  (5 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Medium Fawn
Sire: CCNF Tristan
Dam: CNTRL Matrix's Carmella

Thank you, Teaberry Alpaca Farms! Melisandra is an EXTREMELY nice girl and we know you'll be pleased with her. Sounds like she'll be bred to Ganymede this Fall--can't wait to see this offspring! With her Elixir genetics on the sire side and Matrix genetics on the dam side, we could easily breed her to any one of our herdsires. It's going to be tough to decide which one to try first. The Elixir and Matrix cross is well known to yield excellence, and in this case, we can choose any one of our three Matrix Majesty line males to lock in some of those excellent fleece qualities she carries on her dam side. OR, we can play on the Elite Legend (Elixir's sire) portion of her pedigree on the sire side to pair her with a different herdsire in our lineup. If we're wanting to see what our 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion, Ganymede, can do with these genetics, we'll be in uncharted territory, but we're sure he'll get a turn too!

Huacaya | Female | Beige | Full Peruvian
Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede
Dam: Stillmeadow Farm Bella's Dream

Well, this little girl has a lot to live up to -- all three of her siblings are Champions! So we have great expectations...Eclipse is the first female from the pairing of "Dreamy" and Ganymede, and we're so excited to add her to our foundation. Eclipse is also the largest Huacaya female cria we've ever had born on the farm -- 22.2 pounds! Congrats to her dam, Stillmeadow Farm Bella's Dream! Eclipse is bright, curious and friendly. She used to let me walk right up to her and pick her up so visitors could feel her fleece. Well, she reached a point where that it was no longer cool and I had to stop. It took a while for her to rebound. I don’t pick her up anymore and now she’s happy to come up to visitors again to take treats from their hands. Eclipse was also the cover girl for our August 2022 rural electric cooperative magazine!

Beautiful Girl out of CCNF Tristan
AOA# 36174317  DOB: 12/25/2021  (4 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | Light Brown
Sire: CCNF Tristan
Dam: CNTRL Matrix's Carmella

Thanks to Ken & Lydia Au for their purchase of Joy for their foundation herd! Don't think we were really planning to sell her but we're happy to have her join their herd and we trust she'll do very well for them -- her sire is CCNF Tristan and we can't seem to keep Tristan's offspring in our herd. Joy's fleece is developing nicely, too. Joy is a sweetheart and we think she'll do well in the showring and her sweet disposition will also do well to delight visitors to the farm! I guess we know who Carmella, Joy's dam, will be bred to in 2023! It's a great pairing! We liked what we saw in Joy's full sister, Melisandre, so we decided to purchase Joy as a cria--and her dam, Carmella--along with Mel. The genetic potential in this girl is unlimited. And...NO! we will not be selling Carmella!

Houdini G’dtr Ready to Breed!
AOA# 36119578  DOB: 7/4/2022  (4 yrs)
Huacaya | Female | White
Sire: Alpaca Palace's Jocko
Dam: Alpaca Palace Houdini's Sumthn Else

We call her Jackie. We made the decision to purchase Jackie's dam, Sumthn Else, after initially opting for another of Else's daughters. We purchased Else when she was on the verge of giving birth to her 2022 cria. We felt sure she'd have a male cria but think we hit the jackpot when she gave birth to a sturdy 18.3 pound female -- hence the name "Hit the Jackpot" whom we call Jackie! Each time we look at Jackie, she surprises us. Her fleece character is developing and now her next fleece is coming in and I've got cold feet about selling her, but we need to reduce the size of our herd. Take a look at the second page of her histogram -- it shows that her next fleece will be finer than her first. The bottom of the graph shows the fiber micron distance from the tip. It's buttery soft to the touch and lacking guard hairs. We expect she’ll have lingering fineness just like Elsie. Her conformation is also spot on. I hope to get better photos soon...please ask about her and the photos will leap to a very high spot on the priority list! Also happy to send a fleece sample to serious inquirers.

Huacaya | Female | Beige | Full Peruvian
Sire: Majestic's Rebel With A Cause
Dam: Majestic Peruvian Creme de la Creme

Thank you, Hardly Farm, for your purchase of Marsali! Marsali is a gentle and easy going girl. She's solidly built with excellent conformation. Her well bundled fleece has a wider crimp style with excellent density and good uniformity of micron across the blanket with no extending primaries. Take a look at the second page of her histogram -- it shows that her next fleece will be finer than her first. We have found that this is not uncommon. The bottom of the graph shows the fiber micron distance from the tip. Marsali will be ready to breed in Spring 2024. Purchase price includes a breeding. We'd suggest pairing her with one of our Champion males, Alpaca Palace Rising Sun, who has a very fine and consistent 18 micron fleece at 6 years old, or Man in the Moon's Rigel, who won the dark male Championship at 4 years old with a measured AFD of 20.1 at the 2023 AOA National Fleece Show.

Dam: Stillmeadow Farm Bella's Dream

Halo is a very pretty mild-mannered little girl, and she’s growing up so quickly! We’ve decided to let her go for an extremely attractive price in our herd reduction efforts. She has a sweet and calm personality, too—very easy to handle. . Halo has a beautiful fleece that has an extremely nice crimp style, and with excellent fineness and uniformity, but she does have extending primaries across her blanket. Those extending primaries are also very fine, with micron similar to the rest of her fleece, but they are there. So we made the decision to put her on our sales list at a much-reduced price. Halo is out of one of our best producing females, and our National Supreme Champion male, Ganymede. This has been a proven cross for us, that we've repeated again and again, with great success We are motivated to reduce our herd size, especially with the impending loss of our farm helper, and Spring crias coming soon. I struggled to put this girl on the sales list as I believe she will be a very strong production female, and I absolutely love her look!…but we need to reduce our herd size going forward. Astra is a great little girl with stellar genetics. She’s out of two of our top producing alpacas—Venus and Ganymede. Her fiber has very good density and uniformity across the blanket, with excellent crimp and bundling, although she is not as fine as I would like. She may be a bit over conditioned! :) She is certainly well grown for her age. Astra is a little bit shy, but she’s mild mannered and sweet. Come to the farm and meet her! 2 Beautiful Crias on the Ground in 2018!
AOA# 35231004  DOB: 6/8/2015  (11 yrs)
Huacaya | Male | Proven | Dark Brown | Full Peruvian
Sire: WP VERTICASE'S VECTOR
Dam: Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Raina

Bruno took the Blue Ribbon at his first show, the 2016 Carolina Alpaca Celebration, under Judge Amanda Vandenbosh. His first cria arrived 7/25/18 - a light fawn little girl (Lyra) who has wonderfully fine fleece that almost glows! Much to our surprise, his second cria born 9/25/18 is an extremely nice white male (Telesto)---our surprise that Telesto is white out of two browns. See details on their web pages. Bruno's a very nice boy in lots of ways -- he's great with people and is especially easy to handle for young people. He's out of Verticase's Vector and one of MMFA's best dams, Raina. He is phenotypically beautiful! His pedigree is also stacked with a who's who of alpaca greats. Bruno has great face and leg coverage, and very few guard hairs -- and the ones he does have are right where they're supposed to be! His fleece has a medium crimp style, a long staple length, and a soft handle. At the 2017 TXOLAN show, the judge had great things to say about Bruno's fleece and conformation. She stated that his density put him in 3rd place (out of 10). At the AOA National Show, we had him evaluated by Judge Sara Jane McClellan. He has many great qualities, including uniformity in micron and consistency across his blanket. He has very good brightness and his primary and secondary fibers are very close in micron, which lends to a soft handle. His staple length is very good...She indicated that he is definitely an above-average male and he has so many good qualities that he can easily be retained as a breeding male. His sire, WP Verticase's Vector's lineage has Snowmass Quechua line on the top and Snowmass Nova line on the bottom. Vector's sire, WP Verticase, was a multi-champion white male known for his lingering fineness and quite in demand as a herdsire in the alpaca world. Excellent conformation and these incredible fleece characteristics have been passed down to many of his award-winning offspring. On the dam's side, Hemingway, NWA LTD Predictor, Sir Peruvian Accoyo Odyssey, and Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. Note: Special pricing available for multiple alpaca purchases. Ask about purchasing three or more alpacas for best pricing.

Huacaya | Male | Unproven | Medium Brown | Full Peruvian
Sire: WP VERTICASE'S VECTOR
Dam: WP Platinum Charice

Janusz (pronounced "Yon-Us") is a beautiful boy - outstanding confirmation, fleece, and vigor right out of the gate...His dam, WP Platinum Charice, is a gorgeous light silver gray female with some impressive genetics and extremely nice fleece. Take a look at Janusz' certificate -- a lot of very well-known herdsires in his lineage, heavy with Snowmass genetics, particularly on the sire's side. Quite a lot of gray color on the dam's side, with well-known Dark Shaddow and Snowmass Incan Rose. Janusz has excellent phenotype, genotype, and fleece --- with consistency in micron and crimp. His fleece has very good brightness, uniformity and length. We think he can actually still be shown for the 2018/19 season and be competitive. We pulled him from the Spring 2018 season due to fiber break (which has been fully resolved). His 2018 histogram was taken with only 10 months growth, so his actual staple length is quite good. Janusz' sire, WP Verticase's Vector's lineage has Snowmass Quechua line on the top and Snowmass Nova line on the bottom. Vector's sire, WP Verticase, was a multi-champion white male known for his lingering fineness and quite in demand as a herdsire in the alpaca world. Excellent conformation and these incredible fleece characteristics have been passed down to many of his award-winning offspring, including Man in the Moon's Celestial Janusz. On the dam's side, Hemingway, NWA LTD Predictor, Sir Peruvian Accoyo Odyssey, and Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. Note: Janusz is 15/16th Peruvian and 1/16th Chilean Note: Alpacas are herd animals. Fine & Consistent Perfect for Spinning!
 DOB: 10/29/2016  (9 yrs)
Huacaya | Male | Unproven | White | Full Peruvian
Sire: 2AF Peruvian Zeus
Dam: Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Yasmina

It appears that Epimetheus will retain a perfect fleece for spinning. This gorgeous, sweet boy is half brother to Ganymede. We had all but written him off, but it looks like he just took a while to blossom. He may be turning out to be one of those boys that maintains his low micron for a lifetime -- he definitely has those genetics. (His 2018 micron = 20.5 AFD, 4.3 SD, 21.2 CV is finer than his prior 2017 micron = 21.1 AFD, 4.0 SD, 19.0 CV.) He may even be worth breeding! Either way, his fleece is perfect for the spinner and he is destined to make beautiful fiber. In addition, he has a lovely personality and he's very easy to handle. Epimetheus' fleece is bright white, uniform, and extra soft to the touch (Spin Fineness 20.0). It also has a very long staple and a well-defined crimp. He stands out in the field---his conformation is amazing, he has great bone and full coverage down his legs---a lot of fleece from this boy. His fleece architecture carries throughout, well down into all his extremities and up into his neck and head. And did I already say that he has the perfect temperament? Price does not include registration. Should Epimetheus prove to be worthy of breeding, he may be "upgraded" to full breeding status now, or later, for an additional $1000...so that you may register him and his offspring. BTW, MMFA Supreme Epimetheus was named after a moon of Saturn, as well as a son of Titan in greek mythology.

Wow! At first, we couldn't really believe that this little guy was out of our dark brown herdsire, Bruno. Telesto's fleece is bright white -- not exactly what we were expecting out of his brown dam and herdsire. But, then again, both of his very well known grandsires were white... Telesto's herdsire, Man in the Moon's Celestial Bruno, is phenotypically beautiful! His pedigree is also stacked with a who's who of alpaca greats. Bruno has great face and leg coverage, and very few guard hairs -- and the ones he does have are right where they're supposed to be! His fleece has a medium crimp style, a long staple length, an excellent soft handle, and fineness (2016 AFD 17.4 -- in dark brown! 2017 AFD 20.1). Telesto's dam, ELK Clash's Dixie Girl, is out of MFI Peruvian Titan's Clash, a full Peruvian and 3/4 Accoyo, sired by 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan with PPPeruvian Dracula as maternal grandsire. He has 150 registered offspring, and it's no wonder, with his phenomenal fiber and perfect conformation. We expect Telesto to grow up big and strong -- he's already proving to be one of the best growers of our Fall 2018 crop of crias -- and his fleece is coming right along, too! Can't wait to evaluate where we are in a couple more months. Thank you, Poplar Hill Alpacas, for your purchase of this sweet boy!

Unfortunately, while he was off to a good start, Cosmos had a few setbacks that caused us to withdraw him from the auction and keep him out of the spotlight. We reluctantly offer him as a fiber male since we don't feel he can be a stud at this point. Fortunately, with his pleasing personality and beautiful fiber, he's a great boy to add to a fiber and or companion herd! Cosmos should be capable of producing excellent fiber for many years to come and/or participate as a great agritourism ambassador. He's sweet and easy to handle -- and quite vocal with our guests. He's well liked on our farm tours. He was supposed to be Lot 24: Man in the Moon’s Peruvian Cosmos in the 2021 Parade Of Champions Auction, and we produced a video that can be found here: https://vimeo.com/538420046 Cosmos was truly stunning right out of the box! With incredible definition to his zigzag fleece -- could already tell on day one that he was going to be really, really nice...and he championed at his first show at just over 6 months old! His 2022 2-yr old fleece holds a 16 micron AFD and a Comfort Factor of 100%. He still has fabulous fleece! Cosmos' pedigree is stacked with incredible genetics. On his dam's side, Snowmass Best Man, Sub-Zero and Quechua. On his sire's side, Peruvian Zephyrus, Royal Fawn, Bueno, and Predictor. Not to mention again that his 15X banner winning, 4X Judges Choice sire, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, was also the 2017 AOA National Supreme Light Male Champion! Ganymede has already proven that he throws champions -- and his offspring have racked up quite a few in the few shows we've had in 2020 and 2021 -- along with multiple Judges Choice banners!

Thank you, Mona from Creative Therapy! Aldebaran's (pronounced al-DEB-aran) quite the robust male -- at just over 5 months old weighing in at close to 75 pounds! He has a very pleasant personality and is beautiful to look at, too! Aldebaran is a giant bright orange star in the constellation Taurus. We had no idea he’d be the robust grower that he has been, but that name fits him very well! His claim to fame is that he's a full brother to Ganymede. Ganymede is a 15X Banner winner, including 4X Judges Choice and the 2017 AOA National Supreme Light Male Champion! His fleece only got better with age...At 5 years old, Ganymede's still maintaining a very fine (see his web page) and extremely consistent fleece, and he's passing it on to his offspring. Very pleased that Comet went to a nearby alpaca farm -- Teaberry Alpaca Farm -- where he'll be a companion for their only male alpaca thus far. Comet and Mac are fast friends! Comet is growing! Thanks, Pam! Comet had a bit of a rough start. Born at a respectable weight of 16.4 pounds, he lost quite a bit and had a hard time putting it back on. Even after a plasma transfusion, he was slow to gain. At the two month mark, he was finally over 22 pounds and rough housing with all the mommies and the little male crias 3 times his size. At 5 months old he was up to 33 pounds. At 7 months, Comet hit a growth spurt! He also finally figured out that there's always alpaca pellets available to him in the creep feeder! So, we're waiting and watching for this little guy to start catching up with his peers, and he just may do so. Only time will tell! UPDATE 11/2022: Comet is growing! Jupiter is a quiet guy--just a bit shy but very easy to handle. This guy's not only a "looker," but he has a power packed pedigree with true super stars on both sides! He has nice fiber with good uniformity of micron, but it's higher than we'd like to see in a male of his age, so he’s being offered as a fiber boy. On the day he was born, Jupiter weighed in at 25.1 pounds. We didn’t exactly see him hit the ground, but he came within a half hour window while we weren’t looking. Once up on his feet, he walk/ran the whole length of the pasture before plopping back down! Draco's conformation is correct and he's a very good looking male. His fleece has an amazing handle and his fiber continues to develop nicely. It's fine and uniform across the blanket but the structure falls off in the hip and shoulder so we've decided to offer him as a fiber male. We believe he'll be a great source of luxurious fiber for many years to come -- one of the nicest boys we've ever offered as a fiber male -- both in terms of fleece and personality. Draco is gentle and curious, and he's easy to handle. He eats treats out of our hands. Draco’s dam, Delilah, is out of The Elite Maximus and, at 8 years old she is maintaining one of the finest fleeces on the farm! His sire, Tristan, is a 17x Champion, 2x Judges Choice male that is doing the same. Tristan won several of his Championships as a 5 year old breeding male! Draco has a very fine and bright fleece. Can’t wait to see his second fleece and get him to the show ring this Fall! Thank you, Arianna Sandley, for your purchase! Good luck with Kal in the show ring!

Dam: Nimbus Farm's Rowena

Kylo is a personable young fellow and strikingly handsome. His fleece is extremely fine and amazingly soft. His sire, Blue Northern, is an amazing judge’s choice silver gray male. We decided to breed Kylo’s dam, Rowena, to Blue with hopes of pulling out a gray offspring. Well, that didn’t happen, but we have this very nice medium brown male out of the deal. He seems to be a carbon copy of his dam. Can’t wait to see how this fleece develops. Thank you, Lori Tanner, for your purchase of Kylo!

Thank you, Plumeria Alpaca Ranch! This is one boy that I hated to let go, but I know he’ll fit in great on your farm. I hope he and Dalton will be the best of buddies! Perseus won 2nd Place at the 2024 AOA National Show in Walking Fleece and 4th in Halter against some incredible competition!!! Well, this guy gave us a little shock twice! First, as he was born, and second, when he was cria tipped! Take a look at all of those spots in the photo taken just after he was cria tipped! We’re not sure if he is an Appaloosa, or as someone told us—a spotted Pinto. But, he’ll be going to the AOA National Show in March, and we’ll see what they say. In reading the show rules, it seems that he could be placed in the Appy class, or possibly the Pattern class. Perseus is a spunky little guy -- although the youngest in his Spring 2023 class, he's the main instigator of pasture romps and it's adorable to watch him play! He’s not at all what we were expecting from the breeding, but he sure is cute! Yes, he has the two obvious large spots -- one of them is heart shaped, and he has at least a couple dozen smaller spots—we haven’t counted them all, but they’re everywhere! His spots are showing up more at the surface now. We're still watching his fleece as it develops...it may be lacking that coveted density. That being said, he's certainly no fluff ball. It has plenty of crimp and structure. See his February 2024 fleece shots, that were taken by myself with one hand. Perseus also has strong conformation with very nice bone. At 6 months old, he was 70 pounds -- excellent size for his age -- with a broad chest and a nice square frame.

Inquisitive & Sweet - Buttery Soft Hand
 DOB: 6/14/2024  (2 yrs)
Huacaya | Male | Beige
Sire: Alpaca Palace Legend's Rising Sun
Dam: Nimbus Farm's Rowena

"Ara" is a handsome dude!! He has extremely nice fiber...new photos coming soon...but he won't make it to our show string. He's one of the most inquisitive young alpacas on the farm. He'll come up to inspect your rake and poop scoop, and at the same time he's friendly, but not over-friendly. You'll see him jump with all 4 feet in the air fairly often. He's exuberant and he loves leading the cria races out in the pasture at dusk. He'll make a great companion to an all boy group...and his fiber's not too shabby either! Depending on your purpose, Ara may even make a great herdsire for a fiber farm. His fleece is buttery soft to the touch, with very good uniformity across his blanket. Ooh, the yarn from this boy's fiber will be beautiful!! Note: Alpacas are herd animals. We're happy to sell you a group of 3 - 5 same sex alpacas, or you can add them to your current herd. Our best pricing comes with a purchase of three or more alpacas. Please contact us to discuss.

Proven Matrix Majesty g'son!
AOA# 35157595  DOB: 9/30/2016  (9 yrs)
Huacaya | Herdsire (Male) | Proven | Dark Fawn | 7/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Chilean
Sire: TGF Freestyle
Dam: Estates Keltic Lass

Thank you, Emily Beers, for your purchase of Deimos! Biting the bullet with this guy and I hate to let him go because he's one of my favorites, but we have two other herdsires out of the Matrix Majesty line and we need to reduce our male herd. Deimos' fleece harvest yielded 10.1 pounds this year. He's covered in a dense, crimpy fleece from head to toe. His AFD may not be the best anymore, but his uniformity, crimp, and heavy bone structure--along with his really cute head--will pass right on! I just skirted this guy’s 2021 fleece, and I have to say I still love him! I love his fleece and I love his boxy frame. And, I definitely love his personality. He has a uniform and consistent fleece, with crimp and character from skin to tip. He also has excellent density. He has a stunningly beautiful head style and strong substance of bone on a compact frame, weighing in at approximately 150#. In 2021, he gave 11.3# fleece at shearing! He's a gorgeous guy...IMHO! His 2018 histogram remained almost unchanged from his 2017 histogram, so we expect he will stay fine and uniform. His 2019 histogram creeped up to 20.2/4.1/20.4, but that's still quite good and indicative of his superior genetic makeup! He exhibits virtually no guard hairs either and he's maintaining full coverage of his fiber all the way down to his toes, and right over his eyes, if we didn't trim it. Top that all off with a very pleasing personality - a perfect gentleman! Deimos's herdsire, TGF Freestyle, was part of the AOA Supreme Championship class of 2016, and he has an unbelievable pedigree. His sire, Matrix Majesty has won the Futurity Herdsire of the Year award for 2011, 2013 and 2014. It appears that TGF Freestyle and Deimos' dam, Estates Keltic Lass, have passed their positive assets on -- solid conformation and a very soft, bright, uniform fleece that is full of crimp and character. His dam, Estates Keltic Lass, is also quite a gal...coming with genetics that boast of extreme fineness with retained fineness and soft handle. She is the daughter of Snowmass Nova’s Galaxy, and she has Bueno, Casanova, Caligula and Chaccu in her pedigree. At just over 6 months and with the cria tips still on, Deimos won 3rd Place at the 2017 MAPACA Small Breeders Jubilee. He took 3rd at 2017 Empire and 4th at NEAOBA with EXTREMELY competitive classes. He took 2nd at 2017 VAOBA right behind the Color Champion! and, 2nd right behind RC at 2018 Carolina Alpaca Celebration. At 2018 Southern Select, Jude Anderson lined her selections up and commended the class for being so exceptional. She indicated that all of the fleeces were remarkable, and that her placement was based on how far down the extremities the fleece character carried....so, Deimos has amazing fleece. Then, at 2018 Mid-Atlantic Gala, Deimos took a blue and Best Bred & Owned with quite a few laudatory comments from the Judge! We have retained up to 5 breedings with Deimos, as his new home isn't too far from us!

Out of Zagato x Elite Maximus dam!
AOA# 35230700  DOB: 10/7/2016  (9 yrs)
Huacaya | Herdsire (Male) | Proven | Light Fawn | Full Peruvian
Sire: Sunset Hills Zagato

Prometheus is an eye-catching light fawn out of Sunset Hills Zagato & WP Elite Delilah, an Elite Maximus daughter. He comes from the best of the best! with Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah, Peruvian Zephyrus, The Elite Maximus, Peruvian Accoyo Elite, Evander, Jericho, Mr President, Hemingway, Inca's Ransom, and Dakotia in his pedigree! We expect Prometheus will bring fineness, uniformity, staple length, and high frequency crimp to the table - ranking in the top 6.6% for mean curvature. Prometheus played a prominent role in our 2017/18 show string...At 6 months with his cria tips still on, he garnered First Place at 2017 MAPACA against peers from some of the top farms in the country!! He placed second in very good company at the 2017 Empire Extravaganza, coming in right behind the color champion in his class, a full brother to the 2015 AOA National Champion. At the 2017 NEAOBA, he placed third behind the same champ and he traded places with the Cas Cad Nac boy he was in front of in the Empire Show -- and he then came back into First Place at 2017 VAOBA under Judge Jill MacLeod...and now 1st and Color Champ in 2018 CAC under Judge Amanda Vandenbosh. He's right up there with the very best! Prometheus' herdsire, Sunset Hills Zagato, is highly decorated in the show ring, winning multiple championships and two Judge's Choice awards. He has also won numerous First Place Get of Sire ribbons--at least one for which Prometheus was included. Prometheus' dam, WP Elite Delilah, carries an amazing fleece along with lingering fineness - 18.5 AFD at 5 years old after having two crias! -- so it's no wonder that Prometheus has inherited the density, fineness, and bundles readily apparent in both of his parents. Delilah is out of another renowned herdsire, The Elite Maximus, who was a multiple Get of Sire champion and champion himself. At 13 years old (2014), The Elite Maximus held a histogram of less than 19 microns! And that fineness was incredibly uniform, with a comfort factor close to 100%. Wow!! We bred Prometheus to two of our better females, Keltie and Raina, for Fall 2021 crias. Keltie's male cria, Kale (link to his webpage below), arrived and he has a uniform, fine, crimpy fleece - just not the density we had hoped! Unfortunately, Raina's cria presented as a breach birth and we lost her along with the cria in early November. We're heartbroken and still want a few Prometheus offspring. We have several worthy herdsires that need more work than our small farm can give them, so we'd like to retain 5 breedings if he sells before we get them. We invite you to come take a look and we'll give serious thought to all reasonable offers.

AOA# 35157694  DOB: 9/27/2016  (9 yrs)
Huacaya | Jr. Herdsire (Male) | Unproven | Medium Fawn | Full Peruvian
Sire: 2AF Peruvian Zeus
Dam: Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Raina

Hyperion is closely related to Man in the Moon's Peruvian GANYMEDE on both sides of the pedigree. Ganymede is a 12X Banner & 4X Judges Choice male, including the 2017 AOA Light Male Supreme Champion & White Invited Color Champion. They share the same sire. Hyperion's dam is the daughter of HDF Rachel Ann and Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. . . Ganymede's dam is out of the grand-daughter of HDF Rachel Ann and Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. We know this guy is something special. He has an incredibly solid build, substance of bone, and a bright and uniform fleece...His micron has been a wee bit higher than those that have placed in front of him; however, the consistency and uniformity of micron, and the staple length are there! Look at his fleece shots -- ask for a sample. Hyperion's competed in some pretty tough shows -- some with 9 or 10 alpacas in his class -- and he's stayed in the game due to all of his good points, including his amazing build, and his fleece uniformity and length. Take a look at this boy! We realize that he doesn't have any banners, but even his herdsire, 2AF Peruvian Zeus, only had one...and look at what he has been able to produce: several multi-champions, and two Judges Choice offspring already! Make an offer! The genetics alone will make him worth it, but he's a nice little package regardless. We think he's definitely worth a shot at doing something awesome! Try a breeding if nothing else. Note: Special pricing for multiple alpaca purchase.

Thank you Tierra Prometida & Rancho Inca Alpacas for your purchase! Titan is an exquisite Zagato male juvie that's won championships in three of his first four shows (blue ribbon in the first one), including 3x RC at '19 CAC, AOA Nationals and HOV...and he's done it in extremely stiff competition -- CCNF, Amber Autumn, Snowmass, you name it, they were there. All we can say is that this guy carries himself like he knows he's gonna be great! He's got the "it" factor, and Oh, my! he's an extremely nice little fellow. Tipping the scales right around 80 pounds as a 6 month old, and his fleece is amazing! incredible handle, density, fineness - and we can say that he's improving with age already! At the VAOBA show, one of the judges walked up to his pen and inquired if he was as nice on the inside as he appeared to be on the outside!...well, he's pretty darn nice and getting nicer all the time! UPDATE: So, Titan received his first banner at his 2nd show--Carolina Alpaca Celebration---apparently our thought that he's getting better with age is proving to be true. UPDATE 2: You already read above that he just won his second banner at his 3rd show--AOA National Show. He just keeps getting better! His dam, Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Raina, has made some very nice crias, and Titan's no exception. Titan's sire is Sunset Hills Zagato, and Zagato is stamping his cria out consistently one after the other....He's one of the last Zephyrus male offspring. He is highly decorated in the show ring winning multiple championships and two Judge's Choice awards. His fleece is soft, dense and spectacular with high frequency, high amplitude crimp structure. His conformation, stellar! With about a dozen offspring on the ground, all have been show worthy, bannering and ribboning in the show rings. Looking at Titan this early, it appears he'll follow strongly in his herdsire's footsteps, and he definitely carries the amazing fleece length and density of his dam. We're expecting great things from this guy! Note: Special pricing available for multiple alpaca purchases

Thank you, Emily Beers, for your purchase of Ice Man! We're happy that he won't be too far away and that he'll be living on a beautiful farm with two other guys he knows well. Though he's been sold, we've retained several breedings to Icy -- we just had more males than we could fully use and space in the male barn area and pasture was getting tight! We still love this guy and he has stellar genetics. Ice Man is the produce of Elite Legend daughter, Like a Rainbow and the legendary Little Creek herdsire, Accoyo America Kingfish. It doesn't get much better than that. Don’t underestimate this young male! He's been standing with some amazing future herdsires, and on more than one occasion, the judge has mentioned how close these males are, with all of them having elite fleeces and the placings dependent on very fine points. He's quite lovely with a talkative personality. We plan to use Icy this year; however, he’s available due to the fact that we are tightening up the herd. If sold, we’d like to retain 5 future breedings.

Thank you Nicole & Stephen at Meadowgate Alpacas! Orion is a really sweet guy in so many ways. He’s a hit with visitors here on our farm. He’s an appropriately social male perfect for your agritourism needs, but with his genetics, fleece traits and excellent conformation, he’s also well positioned to possibly become your next herdsire. Orion's strong points are uniformity of micron across the blanket, fineness and his extremely nice staple length. If you need these in your herd, Orion is your boy! Weak points: He's currently small for his age at just under 100 pounds as of January 16, 2021. We're hopeful he'll pick up the pace, and it appears that he might just be doing so after sitting between 80 & 90 pounds for quite a while. His thyroid has been tested and it's normal. His anatomy is well developed—lol! Orion has a bright and well organized fleece, with uniformity of micron and character across his blanket. And...OH, the STAPLE LENGTH is AMAZING!!! Note that he had been cria tipped, so the histogram and fleece sample shown only account for 9 months of growth! As Ganymede did, we expect Orion to get better with age. And, if his parents are any indication, we'd expect him to remain fine and consistent for many years to come. Both of his parents are maintaining AFD's in the 18's at 5 years old! Orion received 1st place halter & 2nd place Walking Fleece at just over 6 months old; 2nd place at 9 months old, where the judge commented how close 1st and 2nd place males were in the class. And 1st place under Judge Jude Anderson, who stated he had the finest fleece in the class with excellent organization. At 18 months, he took another 1st place in halter under Judge Wade Gease, and he took a 2nd under Judge Amanda Vandenbosh in tight competition where both judges indicated that the top three males were very close! Orion is out of our stud female, WP Elite Delilah (who is out of none other than The Elite Maximus), and his amazing multiple Champion and 4X Judges Choice sire, Man in the Moon's Peruvian GANYMEDE (who is also the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion). LOVE, LOVE, L O V E this young male! and you should take a serious look at him. Orion should definitely go to a herd that will use him as a herdsire...

WOW! At just a few months old, Lightning is looking amazing! So far, this young male is checking all the boxes — crimp character, density, brightness, uniformity and fineness. He has a nice boxy frame. Judge Arturo Pena gave him very high marks at the 2023 Carolina Alpaca Celebration show, awarding him First Place and confirming the consistency of his fleece characteristics from front to back and down into his belly, and his strong frame, and declaring him the most complete package. Judge Wade Gease went one step further, awarding him First Place AND the White Male Reserve Championship!! Lightning’s dam is one of my favorites. Her name is White Diamond and she’s out of a male by the name of Thunder Valley — hence the name White Lightning. Lightning’s sire, Kevlar’s Christianos, is full brother to an AOA supreme champion. Congratulations to Chris & Lauren of Hardly Farm LLC! We hope this guy is going to be great for both your Agritourism and breeding programs! We have a sneaking suspicion that his fiber will make amazing yarn for years to come. His dam is one of our best and favorite foundation animals, partly because her fiber has stood the test of time, even as a breeding female. We can’t wait to see how Centaurus matures. At the 2024 AOA National Show, Centaurus rose to the top of his class, competing against 8 other young males. The judge cited his fleece uniformity, fineness, and brightness in placing him ahead of the others -- along with his pleasing size and proportions. Centaurus has gorgeous fleece! He also has a nice disposition. His dam is one of our stud females that has produced wonderful offspring for us so far. See her web page for more impressive information. Of course, his sire needs no introduction. Man in the Moon’s Peruvian Ganymede is an AOA National Supreme Champion, and he has produced many champions, and even multiple judges choice offspring. Thank you, JLS Alpacas, for your purchase of Keltie and her gorgeous female cria, Keket! Keltie delivered a lovely black female cria on 9/23/23. Her cria's name is Keket -- a mythical goddess of darkness. Keket's sire is none other than 6X Champion (incl 2023 AOA IFA Fleece Champion + Best Brightness) Man in the Moon's Rigel. Rigel comes from lines with Matrix Majesty behind him and he's out of CCNF Leviathan, who has been an incredibly prepotent male. What a pleasant surprise that the pairing of Keltie and Rigel produced black! Keket is spunky and silky soft. It's very exciting to see that Keket's fleece is starting to develop a pronounced crimp style, too. I'm not exactly surprised knowing the fleece characteristics of both her dam and sire. The handle is amazing and her fleece is extremely fine. Can't wait to see how her fleece develops! We purchased Keltie at the 2015 Double O. Good auction. She was a head turner then and continues to be one of the most "showy" girls in the herd. Keltie is strong and solidly built. She has a very pleasing body style with gorgeous conformation, excellent size, great head, and heavy bone -- and full coverage fleece from her head down to her toes. She consistently has one of the heaviest cutting fleeces each year. We've come to love her quirky and inquisitive nature. She has proven to be a very good mom, with easy birthing and plenty of milk. Keltie's offspring thus far have been competitive in the show ring. We especially love Keltie's 2017 male offspring, Deimos (out of TGF Freestyle -- a Matrix Majesty line), who is a gorgeous dark fawn that garnered 1st Place and Best Bred & Owned as a yearling (19 months old) at the 2018 MAPACA show. He's been in more than one halter class where the judge indicated that every alpaca that placed had excellent fineness, character, and density, and that it was an extremely tough decision on placement. Service Sire: STF Skywalker

Thanks Gia & Jim for your purchase! Can’t believe I let her go, but I’m confident she’ll be very well taken care of and loved by you and your alpaca whisperer, Cael. Uppity is out of Judge's Choice and 9X Champion male, WP Supreme Justice, and she's confirmed pregnant by 12X Champion STF Skywalker!! Justice is a half brother to Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, a 15X Banner winner, including 4 Judges Choice banners and he is the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion Light Male. We're not entirely sure we want to part with this girl -- especially with this breeding on board! Uppity was in NY for her breeding to STF Skywalker, a gorgeous light fawn 12X Color Champion male out of MFI Armoire. His fleece is bright and beautiful, and his conformation exceptional. We're anxious to see what this breeding produces! We're pretty sure her breeding to Skywalker will produce something quite amazing. Take a look at their fleece shots together! Uppity's genetics are flawless. She is very soft and dense with a very nice crimp and buttery handle. She is a strong, healthy, correct female who grew out quickly and well. Her dam is QR's beautiful female and excellent breeder, Grand Slam's Fenway. And her sire is the outstanding dark brown West Penn male, WP Supreme Justice, winner of 9 Championship banners and a Judges' Choice award. We expect that Uppity will follow in her mother's footsteps and be an outstanding production female. One of the reasons we purchased this girl is because her sire is the paternal brother to our 4X JC & National Supreme Champion, Ganymede. We're considering a line breeding for her next cria, as this could potentially create something very special in a dark fleece...we're on the fence. We do have a couple of up and coming herdsires that may be a good match for her -- we're thinking RC Man in the Moon's Rigel when he's of breeding age or QR Ice Man, who we purchased to cover Ganymede offspring based upon his complementary pedigree and awesome fleece characteristics. UPDATE: Uppity had a lovely female cria out of STF Skywalker!!!

We're reluctantly parting with this lovely girl. Thank you and congratulations to Ken & Shelley DeVault for your purchase. Can't wait to see what Soleil and Ganymede produce! Soleil is turning out quite nicely! Her fleece is fine with a very nice high frequency crimp — and her staple length is exemplary! We completed shearing on April 18 and her fleece impressed me all over again. The fleece we sheared off of this girl is one of the heaviest, longest, and finest on the farm with beautiful staples and a strong and crimpy architecture! She’s also quite a personable girl. We love it when an alpaca is equally valuable as a breeder and as an ambassador of the breed in our agritourism program. In 2 of her 3 shows, the judge indicated that her fleece is equal to those above her but her placement was based on her relative size. She has a compact but sturdy frame and we have no doubt Soleil is built well for production! Her sire, Snowmass Rock Solid, is a brown male who does not carry dilution. Lynn Edens said of her parent's breeding: “There’s a high likelihood of a fawn cria from this pairing and it should be a really nice one with good density, fineness and brightness as it develops, as these traits are coming from both sides. Rock Solid is putting a, ahem, rock-solid frame on his crias also – you can pick them out in the field by eye.” Soleil's dam is our Bells of Piana, an exemplary Loro Piana daughter. Snowmass Loro Piana, named after the famous luxury textile designer, Loro Piana, was the first in the Snowmass program to produce a fleece finer than Vicuna! The Snowmass longtime goal of producing a high curvature fleece with fineness, brightness, and staple length was realized in this remarkable stud. He is quite literally the embodiment of everything the Snowmass program desired in White Huacaya, and is celebrated among their highest achievements in breeding for Ultra Royal Alpaca. His first histogram showed an extreme fineness sf 10.8 of microns, SD of 2.8, 0.3%>30 with a curvature of 67. Snowmass Loro Piana was also biopsied as a 21 month old white male showing a density of 115.25 follicles per SQ MM of skin! Soleil will be ready to breed in 2023. We're planning to breed her to Man in the Moon's Rigel, a 5X Champion male; however, another good choice would be Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, an multi-Champion and 4X Judges Choice male including the AOA National Supreme Champion. Purchase her before she's bred and you can choose any MMFA herdsire.

This one's a keeper! Gemma's dam was the last Elite Maximus offspring and her sire is a 4X Judges Choice male who was also the 2017 AOA National Supreme Light Male Champion, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede. Gemma's fleece is fine and uniform with excellent character and staple length, and it has only gotten better. We think she’ll carry fineness and uniformity well into maturity and impart these characteristics into her offspring. We’re excited for what she’ll to produce! Gemma’s first offspring, Procyon, was born in the Fall of 2024. He’s a beautiful male that we hold high hopes for as a possible herdsire. Unfortunately, it was a difficult birth, so much so that we made the difficult decision to take her out of the breeding program, as another birth could put her life at risk. We’re so grateful to our friends at Point of View Alpaca Farm that they’ve agreed to add her to their Walk An Alpaca program. Her calm disposition should work well, and we’re certain her sweet personality will bring joy to their clients and a new purpose for her that we think she’ll enjoy. Thank you, Dave and Teri Grembi!

Huacaya | Open (Female) | White | Full Peruvian
Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede
Dam: MMFA Venus Rising
Service Sire: StrongShepherd Apollo By Koolossal

Carina's parents are two of the best on our farm. I don't really want to let go of this girl, especially with this breeding on board, but we simply must reduce our herd size due to a sudden health issue. We're retaining her older full sister, who admittedly is the better of the two. Congratulations to Oak Hill Alpacas in New Jersey for their purchase of Carina and her absolutely gorgeous female cria, Andromeda. Had we known Andromeda before the purchase, they would not have been for sale! Out of SM Matrix! Sells w/ Cria by Side
AOA# 35136712  DOB: 10/20/2015  (10 yrs)
Huacaya | Open (Female) | Proven | Bay Black | 7/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Chilean
Sire: Snowmass Matrix
Dam: ELK Invincible’s Carmel Sensation

It was tough deciding whether to offer Carmella for sale. What she produces is amazing -- very high quality! It's just her personality: She's a lovely girl when she's not bred -- not so much, though, when she is bred. Yes, she's one of THOSE! She's actually just fine with all of the other alpacas, it's the humans she doesn't like while she's pregnant. While Carmella's genetics and EPD's are top of the line--the proof is in the pudding! Carmella's daughter first caught our eye so we went to look at her and found that her dam, Carmella, and full sister, Joy, were also very nice and we came home with all three! We chose to breed Carmella to Man in the Moon’s Peruvian Ganymede for her spring 2023 & 2024 crias. With Snowmass Matrix as her sire, her 2023 cria was our first foray into a direct Ganymede X Matrix cross, and I must say that it worked out really well! Carmella delivered a beautiful female cria, Cassia, on 6/11/23! Her fleece is downright spectacular! Soooo….Carmella was bred back to Ganymede for an encore, and she has definitely earned a spot in our foundation herd! UPDATE: Carmella delivered a roan/dark fawn male cria, Crux, on 6/22/24, and he is looking really good! We’re quite pleased. We’ll need to decide whether to breed her back to Ganymede, or his son, Cerberus, but we are holding off on breeding her until we meet our herd reduction goals or we have more help on the farm. Carmella's sire, Snowmass Matrix, is truly one in a million. The fact is this stud has the Premier genetics for high curvature and ultimate fineness. He is a compact robust and well proportioned stud, perfect overall score in frame, bite, body, and reproductive anatomy. He has a fleece that extends its superior qualities over his entire frame. Matrix has what we call a Merino x Vicuna style of crimp. He has a bit more organization in the expression of crimp than a true vicuna but a very high frequency of crimp indicative in the vicuna qualities. Most importantly this stud exhibits an extreme fineness, brightness, and consistency of fineness which is seen in the extension into extremities(hip, belly, shoulder neck and head). He has held these qualities as he has aged which is exactly what we are looking and breeding for. Matrix's Histograms Shearing# AFD SD CV %>30 CURV SPIN Fineness 1 14.4 2.5 17.4 0.3 66.0 14.0 2 15.6 3.2 20.5 0.4 59.4 15.1 3 14.6 3.1 21.2 0.3 66.8 14.2 4 16.7 3.8 22.9 0.6 50.9 16.5 5 16.6 3.5 21.0 0.4 56.6 16.2 Note: MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas. Exc EPD's & Histogram! Gorgeous Cria!
AOA# 35460220  DOB: 8/8/2019  (7 yrs)
Huacaya | Open (Female) | Proven | White
Sire: Snowmass Divine Heart
Dam: Alpaca Palace Houdini's Sumthn Else

It’s Sissy’s 2024 cria that makes me not want to sell her, plus she's such a sweet girl. Sissy delivered a gorgeous beige female cria, Lila, on 6/28/24 out of Alpaca Palace Legend’s Rising Sun. Lila's fleece is looking amazing! We’ve decided to keep Lila in our foundation herd, but Sissy is for sale and she can be bred back to Sunny as part of the deal. We simply must reduce our herd size due to loss of farm help and a sudden medical situation. Of only a few offspring (6 so far), one just garnered his second Championship as a 2-year old at the 2024 CAC Show - Alpaca Palace Superman, and Alpaca Palace Girlfriend have also taken top honors. "Sissy" is an Alpaca Palace Houdini granddaughter from her dam's side that also carries deep Snowmass genetics on the sire side. Her 2023 histogram, at almost 4 year’s old and following two full pregnancies, are still excellent, and her EPD’s are also. Sissy is also a very sweet alpaca -- certainly very easy to handle. Sissy's dam, Alpaca Palace Houdini's Sumthn Else, was one of Alpaca Palace's most treasured dams, with extreme uniformity and fineness. At 5 years old, her fleece stats rivaled many crias at AFD: 18.6, SD: 3.8, CV: 20.5, %>30u: 0.9, and at almost 9 years old, it's only 1.5 micron higher! Her granddaughter, Lila, will hopefully carry her legacy forward. Sissy's sire, Snowmass Divine Heart, is an unbelievable male straight out of Divine Inspiration and the Snowmass Lilly lines! Snowmass Quechua out of Accoyo Elite anchors Inspirations sire side, while the Snowmass Snowbells line anchors the dams side of Inspiration. Snowmass Lillystar has 4P Legacy and Don Julio in her pedigree. Divine Heart earned 14 blues and 7 Championships for his resume and his show career was stellar. His density is phenomenal at 76 which put him in the top 3% of males at the time of his skin biopsy! NOTE for OPENHERD AUCTION SALES: Auction reserve may be set higher than price, as a fully executed MMFA contract is required to complete the sale. Sire: Alpaca Palace’s Jocko
Dam: Alpaca Palace’s Soul Sister

Thank you, John & Susan Stahl! Searcher is a curious and spunky little girl…she’s getting more inquisitive each day and she joins the group that comes up to us readily when we’re in the pasture. She’ll be eating treats from our hands any day now. Please come meet her! We like this girl! Her fleece is gorgeous but the primaries extend into the blanket fleece so we will not be breeding her. She'll be ideal as a pet/companion or for an agritourism program. Note that even pet quality alpacas must be part of a herd -- she needs at least two other female alpacas; therefore, we can only sell her to someone with an existing herd or as part of a package. Her sire, Jocko, is 7/8 Peruvian and 1/8 Bolivian. Her dam is full Peruvian.

Huacaya | Open (Female) | Proven | Medium Fawn
Sire: A and A & MFI Quixotic
Dam: CNTRL Triumph's Charlotte

Arya is a special girl and one of the sweetest on the farm -- she's even easy going when she's bred. Arya’s Fall 2023 cria out of Man in the Moon’s Rigel was much anticipated and he arrived on 11/28/22. There was only one hitch — he was breach upon presenting, with a little tail poking out instead of the expected nose and toes. We loaded Arya up and headed to the vet right away, but she had yet another surprise for us. Upon arrival, we opened the trailer door, and there sat her new cria — delivered backwards all by her self! Rare and unusual that this happened but we’re very thankful! No C-section required. A little about Arya's well-known sire, Quixotic...He is phenotypically gorgeous and his fleece is outstanding. As a very young juvenile his fleece won First Place and Grey Male Color Champion at the 2011 AOBA National Fleece Show…an amazing accomplishment for a juvenile grey fleece. Quixotic's crias hit the ground starting in 2015. Some of his offspring have been out and about in the showring and have earned top awards at several highly competitive shows, earning both Championships and Judges’ Choice awards. Cloverleaf Alpacas Man of Steel is just one example of the quality in Quixotic’s offspring and he is a true standout in the greys, earning top awards at every show he was in!

We call her Della, and her sire is the incomparable impact male, Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji. Della has a pleasing fleece at nearly 6 years old with good uniformity across her blanket. It’s our plan to breed Della to Alpaca Palace Legend’s Rising Sun this Spring. “Sunny” is a beautiful champion male that at almost 6 years old holds an 18.5 micron fleece with a comfort factor of 99.6. The handle on this boy’s fleece is amazing! His offspring thus far have had fleeces that are luxurious—fine, bright, and extremely nice structure of staples and crimp. Huacaya | Open (Female) | Beige
Sire: ELK Matrix's Prime Ruler
Dam: LA Mercurio's Shiah
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Rigel

Thank you, Nicole & Stephen! Guine has a very pleasing temperament and a nice fleece to go with it. She has quite a lot of fleece with excellent density, good structure and uniformity of micron across her blanket -- along with a lack of guard hair. We’ve bred Guine to Man in the Moon’s Rigel, an incredible young Champion male out of another incredible male, CCNF Leviathan, who is a prepotent male that has stamped out many Champions himself. (Ultrasound positive 1/18/23) Rigel’s superior genetics come from both sides, as his dam has produced only Champions herself thus far. We think this offspring should be stellar as there are excellent qualities coming from both sides! This girl is nice and I hate to have her on the sales list, but with 26 crias expected in 2023, we need to sell a few -- even the pregnant ones that hold lots of promise. Her price is already a steal, but we offer our best pricing with a package of three alpacas, since that will help us both out. Please give us a call and come for a visit! Sire: Maple Brook Bravado
Dam: Yeriel
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede

SOLD! Yasmina's EPD's put her in the top 15% or better in just about every category (see below). All of her crias have been sturdy with heavy bone, excellent conformation, and very nice fleece. Her offspring have had amazing staple length and a uniform crimp style. Yasmina has been bred to the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion, 11X CC/4X JC, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede! (Ultrasound confirmed 8/14/18) We expect he will add fineness and uniformity to this offspring...quite likely to produce a stellar foundation female or herdsire for you. See his web page for results of his 30 month skin biopsy and Dr. Norm Evans comments. Yasmina is from exceptional blood lines and she's an excellent mom. This full peruvian Allianza-Accoyo girl is out of Maple Brook Bravado (multi-champ) with Bueno, Hemingway, Augusto, and Mr. President just two generations back! She's an easy birther with plenty of milk and a gentle and friendly nature. Yasmina's first cria, Man in the Moon's Luna (SOLD), out of Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius, was born on October 5, 2014. Luna has a beautiful bright white uniform crimpy fleece (AFD 18.4 at 2 years) with long staple length, an excellent phenotype, straight legs, and a correct bite (See her listing). Luna was bred to 7SAF Thunder Valley, a multi-champ and Judges Choice white male, for her first cria. Luna's cria arrived on 7/11/18, and he's such a gorgeous white that we almost regret letting Luna go. Yasmina's second cria, MMFA Peruvian Epimetheus, out of 2AF Peruvian Zeus (a 382 Peruvian Zephyrus son), is a beautiful white male born on October 29, 2016. Epimetheus is perfectly conformed and he's maturing beautifully with a 20.5 micron fleece in 2018 -- less than his previous micron --- so we're keeping an eye on him. He may be one of those that is born with lasting fineness, and if that's the case, he might actually make it to herdsire row. His fleece is bright and quite uniform, and it has lovely character with a long staple length. His fleece characteristics carry straight down into his extremities and they are very consistent. Bred for another RG cria out of GANYMEDE
AOA# 35230724  DOB: 5/3/2015  (11 yrs)
Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Proven | Light Brown | 3/8 Peruvian, 5/8 Chilean
Sire: PATAGONIA'S LENNOX
Dam: Estates Keltic Lass
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede

Thank you, Jodie Vanselow! We hope you get another modern rose gray! Mira's rose gray female cria out of GANYMEDE has arrived (4/6/20) -- and, she's already sold! So, Mira has been rebred to Ganymede. Obviously, if you purchase her, she'll need to hang out here until her new cria is weaned. Mira's Spring 2020 cria, Proxi, is a beauty with solid bone just like her dam. She has a beautiful medium modern rose grey fleece, and we bet it'll be quite nice with excellent coverage and very good fineness. Her frame will likely be outstanding, and she is growing like a weed. Mira has solid bone, excellent fleece coverage, brightness, great density, and a very good staple length. She's also proven to be an attentive mom, and an easy birther with plenty of milk. And she has a couple of very well known gray's in her pedigree. Mira has an interesting and quirky personality (she's actually quite fun and inquisitive), and she gets along well with her herd, but when it comes to people, she can be a little difficult - especially if you want to touch her! Despite this, she's one of those girls that everyone who comes to the farm is taken with her big eyes and personality. She'll come right up to check you out...but, when you reciprocate by putting your hand out, she responds by saying: "Please...don't touch me!" Mira's sire, Patagonia's Lennox, is a well known and sought after multi-Color Champion herdsire, and with 274 registered offspring to date (2/2017), he has produced more champions than any other sire at Patagonia Estates. His sire is one of the direct Chilean imports, Danko. Mira's dam brings the genetics of Snowmass Nova, 5Peruvian Chaccu, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Peruvian Bueno, and PPeruvian Caligula. Note: MMFA has refined its focus to specializing in fawn, light and white alpacas, so now is your chance to purchase any of our alpacas with darker color genetics at a very reasonable price. Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Proven | White | Full Peruvian
Sire: Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius
Dam: Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Yasmina
Service Sire: 7SAF Thunder Valley

Luna is 3/4 Accoyo and 1/4 Allianza, and she is bred to 7SAF Thunder Valley (AOA #32446180), a multi-champion and Judge's Choice winner in white...can't wait to see this cria!! Luna's a true fleece machine. I was amazed by her enormous blanket in 2016, and '17 fleece is fabulous -- close to 5" staple length and 6.9# blanket & neck after skirting. Her fiber has incredible brightness, an extremely long staple, an organized and uniform fleece structure with excellent density. And, all of this on a solid frame built for production. Her conformation is outstanding with a correct bite and straight legs. She's an easy keeper and she has a gentle nature. Luna comes from fantastic lines. She has inherited some of the best qualities from her incredible sire, Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. Sirius, is a full Accoyo elite white male holding multiple championships and judge's choice awards at the top shows in the country. Luna's dam, Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Yasmina is out of Maple Brook Bravado with Bueno, Hemingway, Augusto, and Mr. President just two generations back. Yasmina is an incredible mother to her crias and we expect she passed that down to Luna. Luna's service sire, 7SAF Thunder Valley (AOA #32446180), is a multi-champion and Judge's Choice winner in white, owned by Heather's Acre Alpaca Farm. He is true to type with perfect conformation and head to toe covered with a dynamic fleece. He has exceptional fineness and uniformity with superior staple length. His lineage is truly impressive. He's out of Snowmass Divine Prophecy and Khan's Kiara. This offspring should be rather dazzling, with uniform fleece character and extreme staple length -- just what is needed in foundation breeding stock.

Champ'n Producer Bred to Ganymede!
AOA# 35275763  DOB: 7/26/2014  (12 yrs)
Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Proven | Medium Fawn | Full Peruvian
Sire: TWF Peruvian Embosser
Dam: TWF Peruvian Saffron
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede

Thank you, Fred & Jane! Can't believe we let this one go, especially with that breeding. Best of luck -- we hope it's another knockout fawn female. Ultrasound positive 1/28/2022 and due Sept 2022. Right out of our foundation, we offer this stellar producer bred to Ganymede for her 2022 cria! The pairing of Sarafina with Ganymede has always done well. The offspring they have created together are perfect IMHO! But, you don't have to take my word for it...Her 2019 cria, Ayla, was such a nice girl that we had consigned her to the Parade of Champions auction that was supposed to take place in May 2020, but due to COVID it was canceled. Ayla was sold to Meadowgate Alpacas and immediately won the fawn female Color Championship at the November 2020 VAOBA Derby under Judge Amanda Vandenbosh! We purchased Sarafina at The Futurity Show & Sale in 2015 as seed stock for our breeding program. Sarafina has had textbook perfect births and she displays excellent mothering instincts. Her size and conformation are just perfect for production. Also, 4 of her 5 crias have been fawn females! She's been a very healthy girl and she's easy to handle...a perfect foundation female. Her genetics are also impressive. Sarafina's sire, TWF Peruvian Embosser (Odyssey, Godfather, Vengador, Royal Fawn) passed on his elite fleece, handle, staple and coverage. Her dam, TWF Peruvian Saffron (Felix, Accoyo Express) also passed on her dense, bright fleece. Note: MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas. Cria by Side & Rebred to Ganymede!

Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Proven | Medium Fawn | Full Peruvian
Sire: PPPeruvian Royal Fawn
Dam: My Peruvian Maharani
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede

Caramela is going to Joshua & Heidi Dallman at Ever After Alpaca Farm. We can't think of a better place for her! Caramela has produced two beautiful females for us out of our 2017 National Supreme Champion male and we’ve bred Caramela back to Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, with hope for another darker fleeced female. Ganymede's Dark Star of MMFA arrived on 8/30/18, and she is a beautiful medium fawn female with fleece that's exhibiting excellent character across the blanket and into her extremities. The judges have recognized the uniformity of her fleece and placed her above alpacas that were finer in micron -- We deemed her worthy to be bred to the 2020 Futurity Judges Choice male, Alpaca Palace Zagato's Zumba -- see more info through her link below. Caramela's 2019 cria, Calypso (SOLD), was born on 10/16/19, and her fleece is very fine. She is medium brown complete with black points - quite a surprise to us!!. She started out with a "silky" fleece, just like her full sister, Dark Star, who was born in 2018. As Calypso's fleece grew out from it's 2020 shearing, it began developing extremely nice bundles and crimp while maintaining its fineness. Caramela's 2020 cria, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Mercury, arrived on 11/13/20! We're thrilled with what we see -- good bone, that same silky fleece that has been characteristic of his dam's offspring, and a gorgeous head style! This breeding between his dam and Man in the Moon's Prometheus (his sire out of Zagato) was intended to capitalize on the exceptional staple length and lasting fineness of both, and the architecture we find so appealing in Prometheus' fleece. We'll keep you posted on his link below as we see what Mercury's got! The fleece characteristics that Caramela allows to pass through are something we don't take for granted. She has impressed us with her long fiber, fleece weight, and fineness as she matured....it still had a staple length of >4" at her 2019 shearing! At 7+ years, her histogram showed an AFD of 22.2 (this is the last sample we had tested), and as a huge majority of Royal Fawn's offspring, we expect she'll carry that fineness for the rest of her life. She also has a nice disposition. Caramela's sire, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, was a full Accoyo male with a history of passing on his fine-fibered genetics to his 406 offspring. Consistent show winners and high sellers, his progeny boast 108 known champions and 329 blue ribbons in every solid color group. Hand selected by the late Dr. Jim Vickers, Royal Fawn was the only light fawn Accoyo exported from Don Julio Barreda’s herd. According to Julio Barreda, Royal Fawn ranked as one better than he had ever produced at Estancia Accoyo in Peru. PPPeruvian Royal Fawn was the 1999 and 2000 "Get-of-Sire" winner at the AOBA National Show.

Service Sire: CCNF Tristan

Congrats and thank you, Ken & Shelley! Daphne's been bred to none other than CCNF Tristan and successfully spit off once before Tristan left for his Summer home in NY. We're crossing our fingers that the breeding took and will hold. Tristan is a 2X Judges Choice, including the Futurity, and 16X Color Champion out of the very well-known CCNF Elixir. Daphne's ultrasound was positive on 7/2/20, and assuming her 60+ day ultrasound is positive, she is SOLD! Daphne's second ultrasound was positive! Can't wait to see what this breeding produces. We expect this to result in an incredibly nice offspring with excellent fiber and conformation! Tristan is a gorgeous male with excellent fleece character, a beautiful head style and full coverage top to bottom! Daphne has beautiful fleece herself, as you can see in the photo on this page. Daphne's 2019 micron was 20.9 per Yocom-McColl. Full report available upon request. She also carries very good EPD's and is in top 1% for fleece weight! On top of that, Daphne has proven to be a great mom, and she has a very calm demeanor. Daphne is an XXXtremely nice foundation female! With Snowmass XXXtreme and NM Beethoven in her pedigree, Daphne will fit right into a color breeding program with her deep color genetics, or use her in your light program. Obviously, we've bred her to Tristan to fit into our light program. Note: Check out our other alpacas. We offer special package pricing for multiple alpaca purchases.

Thank you, Fred & Jane! We can't wait to see her cria, so please send pictures! Ultrasound positive 1/28/2022. Lilly’s a solidly built girl with a gorgeous fleece. She's out of a phenomenal herdsire, Snowmass Loro Piana, who is in the top 1% EPD's for AFD & SF, and top 10% for SDAFD. Lilly has been bred to our newest herdsire, 3X Champion KCF Magnetar, with the hope that she’ll produce a female offspring that we can eventually breed back to Ganymede (assuming that she’s not sold with this cria on board). Magnetar is from a Matrix Majesty line on the dam’s side and his sire, KCF Isidoro, is a 17x Champion with many rare accolades, including 2 Spirit of the Industry awards (retaining excellent fleece characteristics well into his mature years--awarded at the age of 7!). Magnetar has a beautiful fleece that has a very long staple, excellent fineness and uniformity, and crimp across his blanket. We are hoping for a phenomenal fawn offspring from this pairing in Spring of 2022. Lilly’s fleece has good density, and she carries very good staple length. Lilly also has a good substance of bone and overall phenotype, which come from her dam’s side as well as her sire’s. Lilly has shown her ability to create extremely robust offspring and the pairing of Lilly with Ganymede has not disappointed...Lilly’s beautiful 25.1 pound male cria, Jupiter, was born on 6/2/21 and he’s looking spectacular! Lilly also produced a very nice 19.4 pound female cria, Celeste, born on 5/19/20! Lilly's sire, Snowmass Loro Piana was the best producer of fineness at Snowmass, and it is a lasting fineness – he had a 16 micron fleece at age five. Now that Loro Piana has been sold and moved abroad, there are a limited number of his female offspring available here in the U.S. We were fortunate to obtain two of his female offspring. Think about adding these elite genetics to your herd! Call or email us for additional information. [email protected]

Top EPD’s & CH Producer! Bred Proven
AOA# 35478287  DOB: 11/7/2017  (8 yrs)
Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Proven | White | Full Peruvian
Sire: 7SAF Thunder Valley
Dam: Heather's Acre Accoyo Emerald
Service Sire: Man in the Moon’s Peruvian Cerberus

Even though she has no ears (just kidding!)...Diamond is a gorgeous girl and she has proven to be a great dam with easy birthing, and plenty of milk. She also has a calm and gentle demeanor. At 2 years old, her fleece had a Spin Fineness of 17.0 microns, with lovely handle, brightness and uniformity just like her Judges Choice herdsire. At 6 years old, her AFD was still in the low 20's with a very good SD and CV -- excellent for her age and evidence of micron uniformity! Diamond has been bred to Man in the Moon’s Peruvian Cerberus, son of the AOA National Supreme Champion, Ganymede. Cerberus has a gorgeous fleece that is extremely fine and uniform. See his webpage. One of the many reasons we chose to breed Diamond to Cerberus is that she produced a gorgeous female offspring when bred to Cerberus’s sire, and there are a few things about Cerb’s genetics on his dam’s side that we really like. We think those genetics will be complimentary to hers. We can’t wait to see what they produce! Diamond's 2022 offspring, Lightning, was awarded the Reserve Championship at his first show, the 2023 Carolina Alpaca Parade at 8.3 months old!!! We didn't show him much before he was sold, but his fleece at one year old was looking good!! Diamond had a beautiful white female cria out of Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede in Fall 2020. We named her Maia...Unfortunately, she was sold before she was shown. She now resides at Farm and Fleece in NC. See more in her profile below. Diamond's a gorgeous girl that caught my eye at the 2018 Buckeye Fall Alpaca Fest. Once we opened up her fleece, I was in love! Diamond's sire, 7SAF Thunder Valley, is a multiple champion and Judges Choice recipient. He's a true to type male with perfect conformation and head to toe covered with a bright, dynamic fleece. He has exceptional fineness and uniformity with superior staple length. At age five, he carried a 19 micron fleece, SD of 3.9 and CV of 20.7. The uniformity of crimp from skin to tip is remarkable and carries throughout front to back, side to side. Loro Piana + Defiance & Best Man!
AOA# 35528845  DOB: 8/30/2018  (8 yrs)
Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Proven | Beige
Sire: Snowmass Loro Piana
Dam: Snowmass Bells of Freedom
Service Sire: Irish Meadows' Corteva

As her name suggests, Bells is a Snowmass Loro Piana daughter, and she is out of a Snowmass Defiance daughter. Then add a little Snowmass Best Man and a little Snowmass Sub-Zero! That’s what this girl’s got! Incredible genetics there! Bells' phenomenal herdsire, Snowmass Loro Piana, is in the top 1% EPD's for AFD & SF, and top 10% for SDAFD. Loro Piana was the best producer of fineness at Snowmass, and it is a lasting fineness – he had a 16 micron fleece at age five. Bell's has produced three gorgeous crias thus far. She stamps her head and frame onto each of them, along with a beautiful crimp style and excellent density. She has plenty of milk and she is an excellent mama. We're expecting another stellar cria in Spring of 2025 from our Irish Meadows' Reputation son, Corteva. Corteva has spectacular fleece, and he's a 9X Champion and Judges Choice winner, too! Bell's latest cria, Castor, arrived on 11/4/23 -- dark fawn male that looks pretty darn promising! His fleece may be the brightest ever produced here. While we agreed to sell him, we hope to still show him, and we have also retained breeding rights. DEFINITELY going to repeat this breeding, but she's been bred to our newest herdsire, Corteva, for her Spring 2025 cria. Bells' 2022 cria arrived on 10/2/22 and he's gorgeous!! Her cria, Iapitus, has an extremely dense and curly fleece with those little rolls down the back of his neck! And he has great bone... and that gorgeous head. Bells of Piana delivered a beautiful fawn female cria out of Snowmass Rock Solid on 7/7/21. She caught the eye of a n excellent farm in Switzerland, but we weren't quite ready to let her go.

CH Bred to AOA Nat’l Supreme CH! due Sep
AOA# 35121619  DOB: 12/13/2016  (9 yrs)
Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Proven | Light Fawn
Sire: ELK Matrix's Prime Ruler
Dam: Sunset Hills Cocoa Latte
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede

Thank you, Nicole & Stephen! Cersei won the Reserve Walking Fleece Championship at the March 2018 Heart of Virginia Show! Since then, she’s grown up and has very nice fleece and perfect conformation. She has the “look” with a gorgeous head — yeah, I know that’s not supposed to count, but we all love the look — and she’s such a sweet girl. She also passed her lovely personality on to her daughter, Claire, who was one of the farm tour favorites, and she’s continuing that tradition at her current owner’s farm. Cersei’s sire, Prime Ruler, is out of the one and only Snowmass Matrix, perhaps one of the most celebrated males in the history of North America. Her sire also took the Reserve Championship as a mature male at the 2014 AOA National Show! Now, that’s a great accomplishment! Cersei has been bred to Man in the Moon’s Peruvian Ganymede for her Fall 2023 cria. Ganymede was the 2017 National Supreme Champion, beating out dozens of other Champions and Invited Champions. He’s a 4-time Judges Choice male with 15 banners and he’s been producing Champion offspring, including the 2022 #5 female in the Nation as ranked by AOA! See his webpage. Cersei's dam, Sunset Hills Cocoa Latte is from Peruvian Royal Fawn and Zephyrus lines, the same lines that run in Ganymede's sire's side. We believe this will enhance the prepotent fleece characteristics that will be coming from both sides in this pairing. We expect this cria to be a good one! Note: MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas. Let us know what you're looking for and we can help you find the right package within your budget.

Bred to Legend’s Rising Sun for ‘23 Cria
AOA# 35419259  DOB: 11/7/2020  (5 yrs)
Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Medium Brown
Sire: Majestic's Rebel with a Cause
Dam: Sunset Hills Cocoa Latte
Service Sire: Alpaca Palace Legend's Rising Sun

Thank you, Nicole & Stephen! Lyanna's been nick-named "Lashes" by several of our farm visitors for her exceedingly long eyelashes. She also has a very good fleece length. Lyanna has an extremely pleasant personality and she'd work well in an agritourism/breeding program. We have just reduced her price as part of a herd reduction sale. Lyanna's been bred to Alpaca Palace Legend’s Rising Sun for her Fall 2023 cria. Check him out from the link above -- at 5.9 years old, his 2023 histogram stats are AFD 18.5/SD 3.8/%>30 0.4!! “Sunny” has produced excellent offspring in color, so we're excited about this pairing and we can’t wait to see this offspring's fleece!! Rising Sun has incredible matchstick bundles full of a well-defined crimp and brightness, and he's maintaining uniformity and fineness across his blanket. We had the opportunity to see 2 of his first offspring at the 2022 Buckeye Fall Fest and they were stunning! He's passing his stellar fleece characteristics along -- If there had been a third offspring there, he probably would have had a good shot at winning Get of Sire. Ultrasound positive!

3/4 Accoyo Black Expresso Daughter!
AOA# 31017428  DOB: 3/29/2008  (18 yrs)
Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Proven | Light Brown | 7/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Chilean
Sire: Tres Cuartas Accoyo Black Expresso
Dam: Sunset Hills Zambuca
Service Sire: KCF Magnetar

We’ve priced Cocoa recognizing that as a 14 year old her fleece may no longer wow you (but compared to many other breeding females of the same age, it probably should). Either way we think her 2023 cria will prove her value well above her price. I expect she’s capable of several more offspring. It was a snap getting her bred — one and done! Cocoa is also very mild mannered and easy to handle so she could make for a great third in a female package. Sunset Hills had this to say about Cocoa: Sunset Hills Cocoa Latte, is our lovely 3/4 Accoyo Expresso daughter! Cocoa Latte has got many of the same winning qualities as her half sisters and brothers with a 18.4 micron count and a very consistent and crimpy fleece, she exhibits brilliant shine, is fine to handle, and, has a dense coverage from head to fetlock. When you place your fingers through her fleece you can just feel all the crimp throughout it. Fiber judge, Wini Labreque told us she was extremely impressed with Cocao Latte's fleece and its fineness. One look at her full fleeced face and you are sure to fall in love. Look for Cocoa and beautiful Aussie .38 Special daughter, Special (Chocolate) Delight at the Prestige Auction 2013! (See photo) Note: MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas. Let us know what you're looking for and we can help you find the right package within your budget.

WF Champion at 2018 Showtacular!
AOA# 35419211  DOB: 9/10/2017  (9 yrs)
Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Proven | True Black
Sire: Majestic's Rebel With A Cause
Dam: Simba's Shareen
Service Sire: KCF Magnetar

Sansa is a jet black beauty with a fine and uniform fleece. She also has an incredibly gentle personality that's quite endearing. Every visitor to the farm notices Sansa right away. She's stunning but since we're not black breeders, and we have 26 crias on the way for 2023, Sansa's on our sales list -- she having been bred herself for an early Fall 2023 cria. Her 2021 cria is a very nice show quality male out of CCNF Tristan -- winning a blue ribbon at his first two halter and walking fleece shows as a Juvie. Sansa’s proven herself as a good mom with motherly instinct and plenty of milk for her cria. Sansa's been exposed to KCF Magnetar for a Fall 2023 cria. Magnetar is a son to KCF Isodoro, a 6X Spirit of the Industry fleece award! Magnetar has an incredibly long staple length and he's a 3X WF Champion himself. His fleece is well organized and uniform. We now know he's capable of throwing black since his Neogen color genetics test came back! His base coat phenotype is also black. As a breeder, her head style isn’t her best asset, but she’s shown that her head style wasn’t passed through to her offspring, and we expect Magnetar's to offset hers quite nicely in her next cria. Note: MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas. Let us know what you're looking for and we can help you find the right package within your budget.

Bred to Ganymede for ‘25 cria!
AOA# 35483076  DOB: 8/17/2019  (7 yrs)
Huacaya | Bred (Female) | Proven | Medium Fawn
Sire: AMAF DORIAN'S 24 KARAT
Dam: Clear Mountain's Felina
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede

Sadie’s 2024 cria is a knockout! Her show debut will be at the CAC in February 2025. We'd rather not sell Sadie, but we've lost our farm helper (at least temporarily...and unexpectedly due to medical reasons), and one of us has a failing back, making it critical for us to reduce the size of our herd, so we've decided that Sadie's 2024 cria, Stella, will stay in our foundation herd, and we are reluctantly offering Sadie for sale even though we had big plans for her. When we inquired about Sadie's mother, Felina, in 2021, Felina was not for sale but her daughter, Sadie, was. The catch -- Sadie was already bred to multi-Champion Clear Mountain's Stratton and Clear Mountain wanted to keep this offspring that wasn't due until the Summer of 2022. So, we requested a fleece sample and the long wait began...Sadie produced a beautiful male cria for them out of Stratton. Fast forward to 2023: Sadie was bred back to Stratton, and made her way to Man in the Moon Farm as a pregnant female in October of 2023. 2024 Update: oh boy, yes, it was well worth the wait! Sadie and Stratton produced an absolutely gorgeous fawn female that we named Stella on 6/9/24. Our plan is to pair Sadie with Ganymede. We only had a few days to re-breed Sadie to Ganymede before he left for NY, and unfortunately, it didn't catch, so Sadie will be bred to Ganymede for a Fall 2025 cria. The outcome should be a good one! Please contact us for more information.
