Ultrasound positive on 8/15/26!! Elsie is a shy, but sweet girl that holds all of the fleece characteristics we strive for. She has top 5% EPDs in 5 categories! We call her Jackie. We made the decision to purchase Jackie's dam, Sumthn Else, after initially opting for another of Else's daughters. We purchased Else when she was on the verge of giving birth to her 2022 cria. We felt sure she'd have a male cria but think we hit the jackpot when she gave birth to a sturdy 18.3 pound female -- hence the name "Hit the Jackpot" whom we call Jackie!

Each time we look at Jackie, she surprises us. Her fleece character is developing and now her next fleece is coming in and I've got cold feet about selling her, but we need to reduce the size of our herd. Take a look at the second page of her histogram -- it shows that her next fleece will be finer than her first. The bottom of the graph shows the fiber micron distance from the tip. It's buttery soft to the touch and lacking guard hairs. We expect she’ll have lingering fineness just like Elsie. Her conformation is also spot on.

I hope to get better photos soon...please ask about her and the photos will leap to a very high spot on the priority list! Also happy to send a fleece sample to serious inquirers.

Purchase Terms

Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received. Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. Breedings include 60 day agistment unless otherwise noted. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases or multiple breeding purchase. Transportation responsibility of buyer.
