Huacaya Alpacas for Sale

Caelum will be for sale once he is weaned (Fall 2026). He has a lovely fine and crimpy fleece, but we think he may be lacking in the density department as a future herdsire. We'll keep watching him, though, because you never know with their first fleece, and he's only a couple of months old.

Bianca is the dam to Man in the Moon’s Ganymede, a 4x Judge’s Choice and AOA National Supreme Champion, and Elsie carries all the traits a great production female should have--see their pages for histogram and EPD information. Both girls are in excellent health, and quite mild mannered, and they look fantastic for their age. Gentle enough for a newbie, but would be appreciated by an experienced breeder, too! We're reducing the size of our herd, and these girls are two that we'll reluctantly part with. They come at an excellent price point as a package. We believe in their production powers, and therefore Bianca has been bred to Alpaca Palace Legends Rising Sun, and Elsie has been bred to Man in the Moon’s Zenon. Zenon's first cria has arrived, and she’s a stunner. Go ahead and reserve your breeding now -- you definitely need these genetics in your herd! Zenon’s absolutely beautiful! He has gorgeous fleece and spot on conformation with strong bone and a true-to-type head — his fleece is bright, fine, and full of character! It has an extremely high frequency crimp from skin to tip, with tiny little bundles, and it is oh so fine! His genetics are some of the best, too! We expect he inherited just the right stuff from his dam, Dark Star, who is a daughter of Ganymede, AOA National Supreme Champion, and from his Futurity Judges Choice sire, Alpaca Palace Zagato’s Zumba. Zenon received first place in all three bred & owned classes at the 2024 jamboree show, and he did well in the 2024 AOA National Show, where he competed in the Bred & Owned Yearling class, garnering 3rd place in competition with Irish Meadows and Red Granite Ranch. Judge Amanda Vandenbosch was quite complementary of him. In the November 2023 VAOBA Show, Judge Wade Gease placed Zenon in second place above a gorgeous male from Crescent Moon Ranch! He was also in tight competition for the Light Male Reserve Championship. In the 2023 PAOBA Show, Judge Arturo Pena indicated that the top two males in the class were very close and that Zenon has an extremely fine and consistent fleece all the way down into the belly. He was edged out of that first place and championship due to having slightly less density. The male ahead of him went on to Reserve Champion in 2 of the 3 halter classes and to Champion in one. Judge Pena said to look out for his next fleece — we think we may need to keep him on our own herdsire row to help carry on his grandfather, Ganymede’s, genetics!…and of course, that Zumba guy’s genetics are pretty special too being a son of Zagato. We have reluctantly decided to offer Zenon for sale, but we would definitely like to retain some breedings, and there is a possibility half interest can be purchased. We’ve decided to retain Ursa’s Spring 2026 cria, Leda, so Ursa won’t be available until her cria is weaned this Fall. Ursa is a really sweet Zagato daughter, with exactly the kind of fleece one would expect from her sire. She has a power packed pedigree -- her dam is a 7X Champion, and her sire, Sunset Hills Zagato, needs no introduction. Zagato is now residing at Happy Hounds Alpaca Ranch in Sisters, OR. Zagato's stud fee is currently $4,500...so we're happy to have gotten our girl before her sire moved out west. Ursa's full sister is a multiple-Champion, too. No better way to pass these genetics forward. Ursa has a soft and fine fleece that carries excellent density with very good crimp and staple length. We showed Ursa at the 2023 Fall Buckeye, and considering the competition, she did very well, and her fleece has only gotten better! Ursa produced her first cria, Leda, out of AMAF Double Barrel, an incredible multi-Champion and Judges Choice male, who just won the white male Color Champion and Spirit of the Industry award at the 2025 AOA National Fleece Show as a mature male! Ultrasound positive on 8/15/26!! Bianca is a solid foundation dam. She's in excellent condition with great conformation, good bone, a correct bite; and an abundant fleece with excellent density. She’s mild mannered, and easy to handle. She's also the dam of Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, the 15x Banner winning male who culminated his show career as the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion. Bianca's been bred to Alpaca Palace Legend's Rising Sun, and we're expecting a stellar outcome. Sunny's fleece is amazing! His 2023 histogram (as a 6-year old!) put his fleece stats at 18.5 micron with only 0.4 % over 30 microns and an SD of 3.8! Bianca is from a long line of whites and is the 1/2 Accoyo and 1/2 Alianza full peruvian daughter of Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. Her lineage includes the alpaca greats such as Hemingway, Vengador, Predictor, Odyssey, Alexander, Godfather and The Last Don. Bianca's sire and grandsire are both multi-champion herdsires. Maple Brook Bravado is a color champion-winning son of the infamous Bueno, and a grandson of the legendary Hemingway. His micron count at his ninth shearing was 21.8! He has sired numerous champions, including Alpaca Palace's Houdini, and Bianca's sire, Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. By eight months of age, Sirius had won a blue ribbon in every show he attended, and three championships. He topped that with many more, along with a Judge's Choice at the Level V 2009 Indiana Invitational.

Ultrasound positive 8/15/26. "AO”, as we call her, has proven to be an excellent dam with plenty of milk. Her crias hit the ground running, and they carry strong fleece characteristics. See details of her crias below. She apparently slipped her 2023 pregnancy, and due to our circumstance, we decided not to re-breed her in 2024. AO is being offered as a bred female, and she’s been exposed to our multi-Champion male, Man in the Moon’s Zenon…a stellar son of Zagato’s Zumba!! Lynn Edens had this to say about her: "Her EPDs reflect a no-compromise combination of genetic potential for fineness, uniformity, and fleece weight. Plus, it all comes on a superior frame – and she has it!" She is out of Snowmass Kahuna's Dreamer, which goes back to Conopa's Kahuna and Conopa XXX, Snowmass XXXtreme, Snowmass Quechua, and so many other notable herdsires. And on the dam side, Snowmass Touche', Messiah, Matrix, and Royal Challanger. So, this girl is pure Snowmass at its best, with plenty of color buried within that pedigree!

We’re over the moon with Dark Star’s 2025 female cria out of CCNF Tristan, and she’s been bred back to him for a Fall 2026 birth. DS is proving to be a valuable producer in our herd. Dark Star’s sire, Ganymede, is the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion, and her dam is the daughter of the well-known Peruvian import, Royal Fawn. Dark Star’s first cria arrived on 5/23/22 -- a healthy 16.3 pound fawn male out of Zagato’s Zumba. Zenon, was awarded 1st Place and Reserve Champion at his first two shows (at 8.6 months old)!!! He’s now available as a proven Herdsire, but his first cria is so nice, that we could change our minds. His first cria, Aya, hit the ground in Fall 2025, and based on that, we’re breeding him to several others in 2026. Everything about this boy is stellar. See his page for more information. Dark Star produced a beige male cria, Pollux, on 11/4/23 out of Alpaca Palace Legend’s Rising Sun. He joined Thunder Mountain Acres as a junior herdsire, and he’ll begin breeding this Spring 2026. Rowena is a quality foundation female—gorgeous reddish brown fleece, perfect conformation, outstanding genetics and a calm and endearing personality—and don’t forget those fuzzy ears! Rowena has been an excellent mom, with tons of milk and great affection for her crias. Rowena has been bred to Cerberus, a son of National Supreme Champion, Ganymede. Cerberus‘s first cria was born on a friend’s farm, and at his first show, he won first place in an incredibly competitive class at the 2026 AOA National Show! Cerberus was able to pull color (medium fawn) while bred to a white dam, so we are hoping for a fawn colored offspring, just because it is our favorite color alpaca.

Ultrasound positive on 8/15/26!! Elsie is a shy, but sweet girl that holds all of the fleece characteristics we strive for. She has top 5% EPDs in 5 categories! Her 2023 histogram stats and EPD's are at almost 9 years old! Her fleece was the finest on the Alpaca Palace farm the year she was born, and it is a lasting fineness. Elsie is also a very mild mannered girl, which is always nice. Elsie has been bred to Man in the Moon’s Zenon, for a spring 2027 cria. Zenon is a beautiful champion male that brings genetics from Zagato, Zagato‘s Zumba, and National Supreme Champion, Man in the Moon’s Ganymede—all having produced multiple champions themselves. Elsie is a great mom -- textbook birthing with plenty of milk, and she's attentive to her crias. She’s had 5 registered crias. Elsie is gentle and easy to care for, and she's in excellent health. We’re reducing the size of our herd, but also planning to retain more of our homegrown offspring than we have in the past, making this is a great opportunity to purchase a nice proven production female at a reasonable price.
