Herdsire (Male)
Dam: Fortunato's Ali-Accoyo Bianca
Time is running out to purchase a breeding to Ganymede, the 2017 AOA Nat’l Supreme Champion. Color genotype: ee Aa. Can produce black! He's making Champions & Judges Choice offspring!! Extraordinary Offspring: CNTRL Ganymede's Hannah B, has 22 Championships and 4 Judges Choice awards competing as a fawn female -AND- she is the 2021/22 #5 female in the Nation!! AMAF Islamadora, has 22 Championships, including the 2024 AOA National Championship, and received her first Judges Choice award as a yearling in Fall of 2023! StrongShepherd Juno, is a 16x Champion & JC male, and CCNF (arguably the top breeding farm in the country) purchased half-interest in this incredible male to bring different genetics into their herd! …and there are many more!! "This male shows extremely strong fiber traits that should be passed to his offspring...Bred to top notch females, you should expect many champions." -- Comments from Dr. Norm Evans' biopsy report SKIN BIOPSY was performed at 30 months of age by Dr. Norm Evans in December 2017. Of note, his 15x scan shows large fiber clusters uniform in shape and placement within his connective tissue. His scan shows only 4 guard type hairs from the 6800+ fibers in his 10 MM tissue punch. His true density is 86.75 follicles per SQ MM of skin. He shows a level 2 of 4 gland structure, with an average S/P ratio of 14.1 to 1, and only 11% of his secondary fibers are medullated which is rare since the average is near 60%. His 250x scan shows the presence of many round secondary fibers, and one hundred typical secondary fibers averaged 17.8 microns — at 30 months old!! According to Dr. Evans 30 months is the recommended age for skin biopsies and gives the most accurate values. Full report available upon request. While Ganymede’s breeding fee is firm, we can offer attractive discounts on any solely owned herdsire in a multiple breeding package. We also have females available that have already been bred to Ganymede or can be purchased with a future breeding to him. Please give us a call to discuss. Ganymede is Co-Owned with Rancho Inca Alpacas located in Navasota TX

Dam: Stillmeadow Farm Bella's Dream
This guy is programmed for pre-potency! Color coat testing = Ee AA, and…of the few progeny on the ground, he is fulfilling exactly what we thought he would and we can’t wait to get more of his progeny on the ground! Rigel won his 6th Championship at the 2023 AOA National IFA Fleece Show (measured AFD 20.1 micron) as Dark Color Champion at 4-years old! We know that his sire, CCNF Leviathan, has stamped out tons of champions. His dam, Stillmeadow Farm Bella’s Dream, has produced 4 champions thus far! So...this guy out of CCNF Leviathan and Stillmeadow Farm Bella's Dream is something pretty special! Rigel's fleece is amazingly bright with gorgeous crimp and uniformity across his blanket. He came into his own, as we thought he would — garnering championship’s at his 6 last shows! He took 1st, Color Champion, and Best Brightness in the 2023 IFA Fleece Show with a measured AFD of 20.1 from 4 locations in his blanket at 4 years old! He took 1st and Reserve Champion at 2020 VAOBA Expo under Judge Wade Gease in a “...highly impressive and competitive class.” Incidentally, the Champion was his older paternal brother! Rigel then took 1st and RC at 2021 PAOBA Breeders Showcase under Judge Helen Testa, beating out a fine young Val D Lsere offspring (yep—Val Thorens)! He also pulled down the 2021 PAOBA Walking Fleece Color Championship! At 2021 MAPACA, Rigel garnered two Color Championships! Rigel has a very nice head and boxy frame. His fleece is very uniform and carries all the way through his blanket and down into his extremities. Packed with these genetics and phenotype, we expect him to produce stellar offspring -- and thus far, he has! Rigel's sire, Leviathan, the son of CCNF Elixir and CCNF Capuchin, one of CCNF's top Snowmass Matrix Majesty daughters, got the attention of the entire staff at CCNF from almost the moment he was born, and is unarguably one of the top crias from their 2015 birth class. He sold to Stillmeadow Farm for an astounding $53K as a juvenile, at the 2016 Parade of Champions Auction. Leviathan went on to amass 10 Championships and a Judge's Choice Banner! We're pleased to announce that Man in the Moon's Rigel is now co-owned with Sunny Acres Alpacas of Ponte Vedra, FL! Contact us for breeding.

Dam: Stillmeadow Farm's Majesty
Color coat tested Ee aa - Magnetar is fabulous and he's creating beautiful offspring!!! Magnetar's first 2 offspring hit the ground in 2022 and they are incredible! -- 2 fawn females -- all out of white or light dams and all having rock solid conformation and promising fleece characteristics! I am so excited about his offspring, and jealous – lol – because most of them aren’t mine!! Several more arrived in 2023, and we're still happy! Zoom in on those pictures and look at those fleeces. Some are photos of day-old crias! Magnetar's fleece length is amazing along with all of his other stellar fleece characteristics — and uniformity, just to name a few. We believe he'll be a rockstar in our herd! Magnetar’s color coat test came back from Neogen and his base coat phenotype is black. His color genotype is Ee aa. He can produce black! Chris Works had this to say about him: "So fine, such incredible structure and tertiary bundling, the phenotype that just says wow....And with his family tree, it is no wonder." Magnetar's 17 time Champion sire, KCF Isidoro, received his 6th Spirit of the Industry award at the 2019 PAOBA Fleece Showcase. The Work's were so proud to have him receive this award from Wini Lebrecque with such raving comments about his fineness and structure at the age of nearly 7! And of course what they really appreciate as breeders is Isidoro's ability to past his traits to his offspring, and frequently in living color!! Enter Magnetar! On the other side of Magnetar's ARI is an absolutely stellar dam, Stillmeadow Farms Majesty. This girl is a line bred Matrix Majesty rockstar that was just perfect for an out-cross to Isidoro's fleece style. Here at MMFA, we are certainly enamored of the Matrix Majesty line. We actually have three young males that have so impressed us...and with the purchase of Magnetar, we may still keep them all! Magnetar's show record reflects the fact that he was competing with CCNF Dominion over the vast majority of his show career, a true dominator in that color class. We had the opportunity to compare them side by side and we were super impressed with how very similar they were in fleece attributes. Maintaining a Grade 1 fleece at 4 years old with AFD of 18.7! Histogram stats at 2 years old: AFD 15.0/SD 3.6/0.3%>30/MC 62.1! Color genotype: ee Aa His first born son competed at the 2026 AOA Nationals, and won his huge medium fawn color class above most of the big farms in the country! This guy is amazing! His name is Outstanding Dreams Excalibur. His photo from nationals is in the pics on this page. If you are able to put your hands on him, you will want one of Cerberus’s introduction breedings! Okay, just wow!! He’s really nice—Cerberus won the white male Color Championship at the Carolina Alpaca Celebration in February 2022, while his half brother was the Reserve Champion under Judge Arturo Pena. We're really liking his development as he "grows into his skin!" He didn't garner quite the same accolades in his next 2 shows as he did in the first, but we know a good thing when we see it. The judges had a hard time making their placements because the entire class was just that good! We feel very good about his future and expect his second fleece to come in even better than the first, just like his multi-champion herdsire, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, who eventually won the AOA National Supreme Championship! Cerberus is definitely strong and healthy, and he came out covered with a bright, thick and curly fleece. At 3 months old, we finally cria tipped Cerberus, and I hate that we wasted all that fleece -- his fleece is stunning and it was already several inches long! We're pretty sure he’s going to follow in the footsteps of his two older brothers and his sire, Ganymede! Take a look at Cerb's dam side, too -- she brings a lot to the table in terms of proven genetics. We are pleased to co-own this beautiful boy with Phil & Lena Galing | Lippencott Alpacas in Waynesburg, PA. We are offering a limited number of introductory breedings, so give us a call if you're interested.

Dam: Ganymede's Dark Star of MMFA
Zenon's first cria has arrived, and she’s a stunner. Go ahead and reserve your breeding now -- you definitely need these genetics in your herd! Zenon’s absolutely beautiful! He has gorgeous fleece and spot on conformation with strong bone and a true-to-type head — his fleece is bright, fine, and full of character! It has an extremely high frequency crimp from skin to tip, with tiny little bundles, and it is oh so fine! His genetics are some of the best, too! We expect he inherited just the right stuff from his dam, Dark Star, who is a daughter of Ganymede, AOA National Supreme Champion, and from his Futurity Judges Choice sire, Alpaca Palace Zagato’s Zumba. Zenon received first place in all three bred & owned classes at the 2024 jamboree show, and he did well in the 2024 AOA National Show, where he competed in the Bred & Owned Yearling class, garnering 3rd place in competition with Irish Meadows and Red Granite Ranch. Judge Amanda Vandenbosch was quite complementary of him. In the November 2023 VAOBA Show, Judge Wade Gease placed Zenon in second place above a gorgeous male from Crescent Moon Ranch! He was also in tight competition for the Light Male Reserve Championship. In the 2023 PAOBA Show, Judge Arturo Pena indicated that the top two males in the class were very close and that Zenon has an extremely fine and consistent fleece all the way down into the belly. He was edged out of that first place and championship due to having slightly less density. The male ahead of him went on to Reserve Champion in 2 of the 3 halter classes and to Champion in one. Judge Pena said to look out for his next fleece — we think we may need to keep him on our own herdsire row to help carry on his grandfather, Ganymede’s, genetics!…and of course, that Zumba guy’s genetics are pretty special too being a son of Zagato. We have reluctantly decided to offer Zenon for sale, but we would definitely like to retain some breedings, and there is a possibility half interest can be purchased. NOTE for OPENHERD AUCTION SALE: Introductory breeding fee is for a limited time only, and is as stated. Payment and contract are required to reserve your spot. For auction sales, the reserve is set higher than price, as the terms must be agreed upon and a fully executed contract is needed to complete the sale. Please give us a call or send an email if you're interested in any of our Openherd auction offers. MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas. Let us know what you're looking for and we can help you find a group that meets your needs.

Dam: Alpaca Palace Houdini's Vixen
Can't say enough good things about this boy! We’re so excited about him! (His son, Alpaca Palace Superman, has 3 Championships as a 2-year old. His daughter, Alpaca Palace Girlfriend, also has a Championship as a 2-year old.) Sunny's fleece is amazing! His 2023 histogram (as a 6-year old!) puts his fleece stats at 18.5 micron with only 0.4 % over 30 microns and an SD of 3.8! Sunny's 2024 female cria, Lila, has an incredibly stunning fleece. Initially, we had her for sale with her dam, but once her fleece started growing out after cria tipping, we quickly had cold feet with that decision, and we decided to retain her for our foundation herd. “Sunny” has the softest fleece I may have ever sunk my hands into — the soft staples break into incredible little matchstick bundles full of a well-defined crimp and brightness, and he's maintaining uniformity and fineness across his blanket. His histogram at 5.9 YEARS old is phenomenal with a Grade 1 fleece! We had the opportunity to see 2 of his first offspring at the 2022 Buckeye Fall Fest and they were stunning! If there had been a third offspring there, he probably would have had a good shot at winning Get of Sire. And, we got to see a 3rd offspring at the 2023 Buckeye Fall Fest (belonging to none other than Randy Strong, and Barb Sodums of Strong Shepherd Alpacas)! Randy assisted in the herd dispersal of Alpaca Palace, and he now says we got a steal of a deal on Rising Sun. I agree. Rising Sun is making phenomenal offspring!!! The whole reason we decided to purchase Sunny is that we have first hand experience in a breeding to his sire that produced one of our best foundation females. We've bred her dam to Sunny knowing that the whole genetic package is a powerhouse -- and Sunny's dam brings in the amazing genetics of Houdini. Based on what we’ve seen in Sunny and his sire's offspring, we expect excellence in Rising Sun’s future offspring! We're pretty sure he'll produce offspring that are able to produce the kind of fleece we all want even as they age. Rising Sun's sire, Snowmass Legend Rising, was a legend in his own right -- with 4 Judges Choice banners, including one at the 2015 AOA National Show -- a National Supreme Champion! Judges commented "...this is what we're breeding for..." Advanced fleece, strong frame. Rising Sun's dam, Houdini's Vixen, was a Champion female who produced champions, and she carried an AFD of less than 18 microns, with a CF of 98.9 at 5 years old -- that's lasting fineness!
