Cria Female
Dam: WP Elite Delilah
Aya is Zenon’s firstborn, and we are quite pleased with the result! Zenon will definitely get more opportunities. At four months old, Aya is looking amazing in every way. I sure wish we had rebred her dam to her sire! There’s always next year. More info on Aya coming soon.
Dam: Ganymede's Dark Star of MMFA
We repeated the breeding that created this stunning little girl and her dam is for sale!
Dam: Man in the Moon’s Ursa Z Minor
Dam: MMFA Peruvian Talitha
Wow!! Congratulations Todd & Erin Carrell! You hit the jackpot with this little girl.

Dam: Snowmass Aqua Oasis XX
Caelum will be for sale once he is weaned (Fall 2026). He has a lovely fine and crimpy fleece, but we think he may be lacking in the density department as a future herdsire. We'll keep watching him, though, because you never know with their first fleece, and he's only a couple of months old.

Dam: MMFA Venus Rising
I can’t begin to say how excited I am about this young male!! This is one that I am not at all disappointed in being a male. He is just wow!!! The next generation… That being said, I could certainly use a few more females of this caliber.
Yearling Female
Dam: Clear Mountain's Sadie
We sought out Stella‘s dam, Sadie, to breed with our AOA National Supreme Champion male, Ganymede, because of her genetics. But Sadie came with a breeding and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a pairing with clear Mountain Stratton. We are so glad that we went ahead and spent the time for this breeding. Stella is absolutely stellar! Pretty sure she is going to be everything we had hoped for! We’re so confident that we agreed to sell her dam before we got the other breeding we wanted. We know who Stella has a date with now!
Dam: Man in the Moon’s Peruvian Adhara
This girl is special! As her dam went into labor, the placenta presented first. I was panicked and concerned, but a couple of incredible alpaca people talked us through what to do. Oh my gosh, this girl is amazing! Thank the good Lord that we were able to deliver her and keep her and her momma safe.
Female
Dam: H2R Too Hot To Touch
Service Sire: Snow Diamond Absinthe
We purchased Sangria at the 2025 Education with a Destination auction. As she came with two breedings, she is currently boarded with her original owners at Happy Hounds Ranch in Oregon. It will be a while, but we can’t wait to get her back to MMFA in late 2026, hopefully with a cria by side and a bun in the oven! H2R Sangria is the only light brown female offspring of H2R Valerian! All of his other daughters are white, medium fawn or beige. H2R Valerian was the 2023 Light Herdsire of the Year, 2023 Reserve Dark Herdsire of the Year and 2024 Reserve Herdsire of the Year Md Farm Division 2 at The Futurity. Her dam, H2R Too Hot to Touch, is a Snowmass Velvet Touche daughter, who is an important part of the H2R program. Sangria’s fleece was 17.2 microns in 2024 with a 3.5” staple of uniformity and fineness. Sangria was bred to Snow Diamond Absinthe for her 2026 cria, and she produced a stout and healthy male cria we’ve named Pyrrhus. Pyrrhus had an IgG of over 3000, which is extremely good for a first time mom. Plus, she’s proven to be a stellar mother. Sangria will be bred to Sunset Hills Zagato for her 2027 cria, and then she’ll head to her new home here at Man in the Moon Farm this Fall.
Bianca is the dam to Man in the Moon’s Ganymede, a 4x Judge’s Choice and AOA National Supreme Champion, and Elsie carries all the traits a great production female should have--see their pages for histogram and EPD information. Both girls are in excellent health, and quite mild mannered, and they look fantastic for their age. Gentle enough for a newbie, but would be appreciated by an experienced breeder, too! We're reducing the size of our herd, and these girls are two that we'll reluctantly part with. They come at an excellent price point as a package. We believe in their production powers, and therefore Bianca has been bred to Alpaca Palace Legends Rising Sun, and Elsie has been bred to Man in the Moon’s Zenon. Both are confirmed pregnant with positive ultrasounds on 8/15/26! These offspring should be show-worthy! Time is running out to purchase a breeding to Ganymede, the 2017 AOA Nat’l Supreme Champion. Color genotype: ee Aa. Can produce black! He's making Champions & Judges Choice offspring!! Extraordinary Offspring: CNTRL Ganymede's Hannah B, has 22 Championships and 4 Judges Choice awards competing as a fawn female -AND- she is the 2021/22 #5 female in the Nation!! AMAF Islamadora, has 22 Championships, including the 2024 AOA National Championship, and received her first Judges Choice award as a yearling in Fall of 2023! StrongShepherd Juno, is a 16x Champion & JC male, and CCNF (arguably the top breeding farm in the country) purchased half-interest in this incredible male to bring different genetics into their herd! …and there are many more!! "This male shows extremely strong fiber traits that should be passed to his offspring...Bred to top notch females, you should expect many champions." -- Comments from Dr. Norm Evans' biopsy report SKIN BIOPSY was performed at 30 months of age by Dr. Norm Evans in December 2017. Of note, his 15x scan shows large fiber clusters uniform in shape and placement within his connective tissue. His scan shows only 4 guard type hairs from the 6800+ fibers in his 10 MM tissue punch. His true density is 86.75 follicles per SQ MM of skin. He shows a level 2 of 4 gland structure, with an average S/P ratio of 14.1 to 1, and only 11% of his secondary fibers are medullated which is rare since the average is near 60%. His 250x scan shows the presence of many round secondary fibers, and one hundred typical secondary fibers averaged 17.8 microns — at 30 months old!! According to Dr. Evans 30 months is the recommended age for skin biopsies and gives the most accurate values. Full report available upon request. While Ganymede’s breeding fee is firm, we can offer attractive discounts on any solely owned herdsire in a multiple breeding package. We also have females available that have already been bred to Ganymede or can be purchased with a future breeding to him. Please give us a call to discuss. Dam: Stillmeadow Farm Bella's Dream
This guy is programmed for pre-potency! Color coat testing = Ee AA, and…of the few progeny on the ground, he is fulfilling exactly what we thought he would and we can’t wait to get more of his progeny on the ground! Rigel won his 6th Championship at the 2023 AOA National IFA Fleece Show (measured AFD 20.1 micron) as Dark Color Champion at 4-years old! We know that his sire, CCNF Leviathan, has stamped out tons of champions. His dam, Stillmeadow Farm Bella’s Dream, has produced 4 champions thus far! So...this guy out of CCNF Leviathan and Stillmeadow Farm Bella's Dream is something pretty special! Rigel's fleece is amazingly bright with gorgeous crimp and uniformity across his blanket. He came into his own, as we thought he would — garnering championship’s at his 6 last shows! He took 1st, Color Champion, and Best Brightness in the 2023 IFA Fleece Show with a measured AFD of 20.1 from 4 locations in his blanket at 4 years old! He took 1st and Reserve Champion at 2020 VAOBA Expo under Judge Wade Gease in a “...highly impressive and competitive class.” Incidentally, the Champion was his older paternal brother! Rigel then took 1st and RC at 2021 PAOBA Breeders Showcase under Judge Helen Testa, beating out a fine young Val D Lsere offspring (yep—Val Thorens)! He also pulled down the 2021 PAOBA Walking Fleece Color Championship! At 2021 MAPACA, Rigel garnered two Color Championships! Rigel has a very nice head and boxy frame. His fleece is very uniform and carries all the way through his blanket and down into his extremities. Packed with these genetics and phenotype, we expect him to produce stellar offspring -- and thus far, he has! Rigel's sire, Leviathan, the son of CCNF Elixir and CCNF Capuchin, one of CCNF's top Snowmass Matrix Majesty daughters, got the attention of the entire staff at CCNF from almost the moment he was born, and is unarguably one of the top crias from their 2015 birth class. He sold to Stillmeadow Farm for an astounding $53K as a juvenile, at the 2016 Parade of Champions Auction. Leviathan went on to amass 10 Championships and a Judge's Choice Banner! We're pleased to announce that Man in the Moon's Rigel is now co-owned with Sunny Acres Alpacas of Ponte Vedra, FL! Contact us for breeding.

Dam: Stillmeadow Farm's Majesty
Color coat tested Ee aa - Magnetar is fabulous and he's creating beautiful offspring!!! Magnetar's first 2 offspring hit the ground in 2022 and they are incredible! -- 2 fawn females -- all out of white or light dams and all having rock solid conformation and promising fleece characteristics! I am so excited about his offspring, and jealous – lol – because most of them aren’t mine!! Several more arrived in 2023, and we're still happy! Zoom in on those pictures and look at those fleeces. Some are photos of day-old crias! Magnetar's fleece length is amazing along with all of his other stellar fleece characteristics — and uniformity, just to name a few. We believe he'll be a rockstar in our herd! Magnetar’s color coat test came back from Neogen and his base coat phenotype is black. His color genotype is Ee aa. He can produce black! Chris Works had this to say about him: "So fine, such incredible structure and tertiary bundling, the phenotype that just says wow....And with his family tree, it is no wonder." Magnetar's 17 time Champion sire, KCF Isidoro, received his 6th Spirit of the Industry award at the 2019 PAOBA Fleece Showcase. The Work's were so proud to have him receive this award from Wini Lebrecque with such raving comments about his fineness and structure at the age of nearly 7! And of course what they really appreciate as breeders is Isidoro's ability to past his traits to his offspring, and frequently in living color!! Enter Magnetar! On the other side of Magnetar's ARI is an absolutely stellar dam, Stillmeadow Farms Majesty. This girl is a line bred Matrix Majesty rockstar that was just perfect for an out-cross to Isidoro's fleece style. Here at MMFA, we are certainly enamored of the Matrix Majesty line. We actually have three young males that have so impressed us...and with the purchase of Magnetar, we may still keep them all! Magnetar's show record reflects the fact that he was competing with CCNF Dominion over the vast majority of his show career, a true dominator in that color class. We had the opportunity to compare them side by side and we were super impressed with how very similar they were in fleece attributes. Maintaining a Grade 1 fleece at 4 years old with AFD of 18.7! Histogram stats at 2 years old: AFD 15.0/SD 3.6/0.3%>30/MC 62.1! Color genotype: ee Aa His first born son competed at the 2026 AOA Nationals, and won his huge medium fawn color class above most of the big farms in the country! This guy is amazing! His name is Outstanding Dreams Excalibur. His photo from nationals is in the pics on this page. If you are able to put your hands on him, you will want one of Cerberus’s introduction breedings! Okay, just wow!! He’s really nice—Cerberus won the white male Color Championship at the Carolina Alpaca Celebration in February 2022, while his half brother was the Reserve Champion under Judge Arturo Pena. We're really liking his development as he "grows into his skin!" He didn't garner quite the same accolades in his next 2 shows as he did in the first, but we know a good thing when we see it. The judges had a hard time making their placements because the entire class was just that good! We feel very good about his future and expect his second fleece to come in even better than the first, just like his multi-champion herdsire, Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, who eventually won the AOA National Supreme Championship! Cerberus is definitely strong and healthy, and he came out covered with a bright, thick and curly fleece. At 3 months old, we finally cria tipped Cerberus, and I hate that we wasted all that fleece -- his fleece is stunning and it was already several inches long! We're pretty sure he’s going to follow in the footsteps of his two older brothers and his sire, Ganymede! Take a look at Cerb's dam side, too -- she brings a lot to the table in terms of proven genetics. We are pleased to co-own this beautiful boy with Phil & Lena Galing | Lippencott Alpacas in Waynesburg, PA. We are offering a limited number of introductory breedings, so give us a call if you're interested.

Dam: Ganymede's Dark Star of MMFA
Zenon's first cria has arrived, and she’s a stunner. Go ahead and reserve your breeding now -- you definitely need these genetics in your herd! Zenon’s absolutely beautiful! He has gorgeous fleece and spot on conformation with strong bone and a true-to-type head — his fleece is bright, fine, and full of character! It has an extremely high frequency crimp from skin to tip, with tiny little bundles, and it is oh so fine! His genetics are some of the best, too! We expect he inherited just the right stuff from his dam, Dark Star, who is a daughter of Ganymede, AOA National Supreme Champion, and from his Futurity Judges Choice sire, Alpaca Palace Zagato’s Zumba. Zenon received first place in all three bred & owned classes at the 2024 jamboree show, and he did well in the 2024 AOA National Show, where he competed in the Bred & Owned Yearling class, garnering 3rd place in competition with Irish Meadows and Red Granite Ranch. Judge Amanda Vandenbosch was quite complementary of him. In the November 2023 VAOBA Show, Judge Wade Gease placed Zenon in second place above a gorgeous male from Crescent Moon Ranch! He was also in tight competition for the Light Male Reserve Championship. In the 2023 PAOBA Show, Judge Arturo Pena indicated that the top two males in the class were very close and that Zenon has an extremely fine and consistent fleece all the way down into the belly. He was edged out of that first place and championship due to having slightly less density. The male ahead of him went on to Reserve Champion in 2 of the 3 halter classes and to Champion in one. Judge Pena said to look out for his next fleece — we think we may need to keep him on our own herdsire row to help carry on his grandfather, Ganymede’s, genetics!…and of course, that Zumba guy’s genetics are pretty special too being a son of Zagato. We have reluctantly decided to offer Zenon for sale, but we would definitely like to retain some breedings, and there is a possibility half interest can be purchased. NOTE for OPENHERD AUCTION SALE: Introductory breeding fee is for a limited time only, and is as stated. Payment and contract are required to reserve your spot. For auction sales, the reserve is set higher than price, as the terms must be agreed upon and a fully executed contract is needed to complete the sale. Please give us a call or send an email if you're interested in any of our Openherd auction offers. MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas. Dam: Alpaca Palace Houdini's Vixen
Can't say enough good things about this boy! We’re so excited about him! (His son, Alpaca Palace Superman, has 3 Championships as a 2-year old. His daughter, Alpaca Palace Girlfriend, also has a Championship as a 2-year old.) Sunny's fleece is amazing! His 2023 histogram (as a 6-year old!) puts his fleece stats at 18.5 micron with only 0.4 % over 30 microns and an SD of 3.8! Sunny's 2024 female cria, Lila, has an incredibly stunning fleece. Initially, we had her for sale with her dam, but once her fleece started growing out after cria tipping, we quickly had cold feet with that decision, and we decided to retain her for our foundation herd. “Sunny” has the softest fleece I may have ever sunk my hands into — the soft staples break into incredible little matchstick bundles full of a well-defined crimp and brightness, and he's maintaining uniformity and fineness across his blanket. His histogram at 5.9 YEARS old is phenomenal with a Grade 1 fleece! We had the opportunity to see 2 of his first offspring at the 2022 Buckeye Fall Fest and they were stunning! If there had been a third offspring there, he probably would have had a good shot at winning Get of Sire. And, we got to see a 3rd offspring at the 2023 Buckeye Fall Fest (belonging to none other than Randy Strong, and Barb Sodums of Strong Shepherd Alpacas)! Randy assisted in the herd dispersal of Alpaca Palace, and he now says we got a steal of a deal on Rising Sun. I agree. Rising Sun is making phenomenal offspring!!! The whole reason we decided to purchase Sunny is that we have first hand experience in a breeding to his sire that produced one of our best foundation females. We've bred her dam to Sunny knowing that the whole genetic package is a powerhouse -- and Sunny's dam brings in the amazing genetics of Houdini. Based on what we’ve seen in Sunny and his sire's offspring, we expect excellence in Rising Sun’s future offspring! We're pretty sure he'll produce offspring that are able to produce the kind of fleece we all want even as they age. Rising Sun's sire, Snowmass Legend Rising, was a legend in his own right -- with 4 Judges Choice banners, including one at the 2015 AOA National Show -- a National Supreme Champion! Judges commented "...this is what we're breeding for..." Advanced fleece, strong frame. Rising Sun's dam, Houdini's Vixen, was a Champion female who produced champions, and she carried an AFD of less than 18 microns, with a CF of 98.9 at 5 years old -- that's lasting fineness!

Corteva has gorgeous crimp, amazing density, marvelous brightness and a luxurious handle with uniformity throughout the blanket. We have great respect for his pedigree. His sire, Irish Meadows' Reputation, is just wow, wow, WOW! Truly an extraordinary male with 26 banners, eight of those were won as a juvenile! As a yearling he went on to win 18 more banners, three of those being Judge's Choice! His Judges Choice winnings may have been even more, as he was competing with Irish Meadows Elite Max every step of the way, who ultimately won 27 banners with 8 Judges Choice AND the National Supreme Championship! Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Rigel
Phenomenal girl...All we can say is Wow! She is better than we could have dreamed! And this cria on board is a repeat breeding, as its full sister is an absolute stunner. UPDATE: Venus spring 2026 cria arrived on 6/18, and this is the first time I’ve been genuinely excited about a male cria in quite some time. He’s so nice, that we’ve decided to breed Venus back to Rigel yet another time, even though I had planned to breed her to a different boy. This time, I need a girl, though! MMFA Venus Rising started her show career at the 2018 Showtacular/ NEAOBA/ Empire, and she walked away with two Reserve Color Championships--one of them in front of a Snowmass female and the other right behind a CCNF female! At the 2019 Heart of Virginia, she walked away with a full Color Championship in front of a beautiful Stillmeadow Farm female. Kevin O'Leary said she is the "total package." Venus is out of one of our top stud females, WP Elite Delilah, who is out of The Elite Maximus. Delilah is maintaining an 18 micron AFD at 5 years old! and while we haven't gotten a recent histogram, her fleece is amazing for her age and the number of crias she's had -- definitely one of the best fleeces on the farm. Venus' sire is none other than Snowmass Legend Rising, a multi-champion white male who garnered 4X Judges Choice awards. The sad news is that he unexpectedly passed in the Fall of 2018--much, much too soon. We had hoped to repeat her breeding. Every single one of Venus' offspring have been extremely nice foundation quality alpacas. We've sold several of them, only to have seller's remorse. We purchased one of them back when we had the opportunity. Her Spring 2025 cria out of Man in the Moon’s Rigel arrived on 6/4/25, and she’s an absolute stunner! We decided to breed her back to Rigel for a 2026 offspring, and have made the tough decision to list Venus on our sales list, as we’ve retained two of her daughters. Note: MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas. Let us know what you're looking for and we can help you find the right package within your budget.
Dam: Alpaca Palace Houdini’s Hou Ray
Service Sire: AMAF Double Barrel
We’ve decided to retain Ursa’s Spring 2026 cria, Leda, so Ursa won’t be available until her cria is weaned this Fall. Ursa is a really sweet Zagato daughter, with exactly the kind of fleece one would expect from her sire. She has a power packed pedigree -- her dam is a 7X Champion, and her sire, Sunset Hills Zagato, needs no introduction. Zagato is now residing at Happy Hounds Alpaca Ranch in Sisters, OR. Zagato's stud fee is currently $4,500...so we're happy to have gotten our girl before her sire moved out west. Ursa's full sister is a multiple-Champion, too. No better way to pass these genetics forward. Ursa has a soft and fine fleece that carries excellent density with very good crimp and staple length. We showed Ursa at the 2023 Fall Buckeye, and considering the competition, she did very well, and her fleece has only gotten better! Ursa produced her first cria, Leda, out of AMAF Double Barrel, an incredible multi-Champion and Judges Choice male, who just won the white male Color Champion and Spirit of the Industry award at the 2025 AOA National Fleece Show as a mature male! UPDATE: Ursa’s white female cria arrived on 4/26/26. Info coming soon!

Bred (Female)
Dam: Fortunato's Alianza Biata
Service Sire: Alpaca Palace Legend's Rising Sun
Ultrasound positive on 8/15/26!! Bianca is a solid foundation dam. She's in excellent condition with great conformation, good bone, a correct bite; and an abundant fleece with excellent density. She’s mild mannered, and easy to handle. She's also the dam of Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede, the 15x Banner winning male who culminated his show career as the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion. Bianca's been bred to Alpaca Palace Legend's Rising Sun, and we're expecting a stellar outcome. Sunny's fleece is amazing! His 2023 histogram (as a 6-year old!) put his fleece stats at 18.5 micron with only 0.4 % over 30 microns and an SD of 3.8! Bianca is from a long line of whites and is the 1/2 Accoyo and 1/2 Alianza full peruvian daughter of Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. Her lineage includes the alpaca greats such as Hemingway, Vengador, Predictor, Odyssey, Alexander, Godfather and The Last Don. Bianca's sire and grandsire are both multi-champion herdsires. Maple Brook Bravado is a color champion-winning son of the infamous Bueno, and a grandson of the legendary Hemingway. His micron count at his ninth shearing was 21.8! He has sired numerous champions, including Alpaca Palace's Houdini, and Bianca's sire, Heather's Acre Accoyo Sirius. By eight months of age, Sirius had won a blue ribbon in every show he attended, and three championships. He topped that with many more, along with a Judge's Choice at the Level V 2009 Indiana Invitational.

Dam: Inca Trail's Autumn Delaney
Service Sire: Man in the Moon's Rigel
5th shearing: Grade 1 Ultra Fine Royal Baby fleece with a comfort factor close to 100%! And this beautiful female's given us six (almost seven) stellar offspring -- all show quality -- with a few banners in there. WP Elite Delilah will stay in our foundation herd...but there's always a price, right? She's one of the best out there, and she's maintaining incredible fleece stats with a Spin Fineness of 17.7 microns at 5 years old as a breeding female! As an 8-year old, I doubt it's changed much -- she still has a beautiful crimp, fineness, and a wonderful handle to her fleece. If you are looking for the very best, Delilah's offspring are absolutely what you should consider...at least one of them, anyway! Delilah produced an absolutely gorgeous medium fawn male out of Man in the Moon's Rigel on 10/2/24. Her 2025 cria came on 10/12/25 and she’s a light fawn beauty out of Man in the Moon’s Zenon. We bred Delilah to Rising Sun’s sire, Snowmass Legend Rising, a few years ago and they produced our Venus, who is a stellar female which we retained in our foundation herd. This was the entire reason we inquired about Rising Sun in the first place. Delilah was bred to Legend’s Rising Sun for her 2023 cria, and she delivered a light fawn female, Electra, on 10/14/23. Electra is so lovely that I wish we had repeated the breeding! But whatever Delilah produces is golden! Delilah's 2020 female cria, Arielle (SOLD), may follow in the footsteps of her half sister, Venus. Her 2019 cria, Orion (SOLD), was awarded 1st place at the AOA National Show and has so far accumulated 4 Blue Ribbons. Too bad the Spring 2020 show season was cut short by COVID. Her Fall 2017 cria, Venus, is a real showstopper that took two Reserve Championships at her first show (with both CCNF and Snowmass represented in her class), and we have retained her in our foundation herd. Her 2016 male cria, Prometheus, also won a Color Championship, and has just started breeding as a herdsire on MMFA's stud row. We have no doubt Delilah can produce the best of the best of the best based on her five crias to date. Delilah is out of the renowned stud, The Elite Maximus. At 13 years old his 2014 histogram was less than 19 microns! And that fineness was incredibly uniform, with a comfort factor of close to 100%. Wow!! The Elite Maximus was one of those few animals to possess instant name recognition in the alpaca world. His reputation as a herdsire, and before that, in the show ring, was second to none. Sadly, The Elite Maximus suddenly passed away in the Fall of 2016. Delilah is one of his elite progeny.
Dam: SNOWMASS HEAVENS HANNA
Service Sire: Man in the Moon’s Zenon
Ultrasound positive 8/15/26. "AO”, as we call her, has proven to be an excellent dam with plenty of milk. Her crias hit the ground running, and they carry strong fleece characteristics. See details of her crias below. She apparently slipped her 2023 pregnancy, and due to our circumstance, we decided not to re-breed her in 2024. AO is being offered as a bred female, and she’s been exposed to our multi-Champion male, Man in the Moon’s Zenon…a stellar son of Zagato’s Zumba!! Lynn Edens had this to say about her: "Her EPDs reflect a no-compromise combination of genetic potential for fineness, uniformity, and fleece weight. Plus, it all comes on a superior frame – and she has it!" She is out of Snowmass Kahuna's Dreamer, which goes back to Conopa's Kahuna and Conopa XXX, Snowmass XXXtreme, Snowmass Quechua, and so many other notable herdsires. And on the dam side, Snowmass Touche', Messiah, Matrix, and Royal Challanger. So, this girl is pure Snowmass at its best, with plenty of color buried within that pedigree!

We’re over the moon with Dark Star’s 2025 female cria out of CCNF Tristan, and she’s been bred back to him for a Fall 2026 birth. DS is proving to be a valuable producer in our herd. Dark Star’s sire, Ganymede, is the 2017 AOA National Supreme Champion, and her dam is the daughter of the well-known Peruvian import, Royal Fawn. Dark Star’s first cria arrived on 5/23/22 -- a healthy 16.3 pound fawn male out of Zagato’s Zumba. Zenon, was awarded 1st Place and Reserve Champion at his first two shows (at 8.6 months old)!!! He’s now available as a proven Herdsire, but his first cria is so nice, that we could change our minds. His first cria, Aya, hit the ground in Fall 2025, and based on that, we’re breeding him to several others in 2026. Everything about this boy is stellar. See his page for more information. Dark Star produced a beige male cria, Pollux, on 11/4/23 out of Alpaca Palace Legend’s Rising Sun. He joined Thunder Mountain Acres as a junior herdsire, and he’ll begin breeding this Spring 2026. DS was bred to CCNF Tristan in Fall 2024. She produced a show-stopping light fawn female cria in October 2025!! Her cria, Sunna, will be showing this Fall. See Sunna’s webpage for more info. We’re so pleased with this little girl that DS was bred back to her sire. NOTE for OPENHERD AUCTION SALES: Auction reserve is set higher than price, as a fully executed contract is needed to complete the sale. So...Adhara will be staying in our foundation herd. We sold her as a yearling and we were able to purchase her back as a 2-year-old. We love her fiber qualities and spot-on conformation. Her fleece has developed nicely, and that spot doesn't bother us at all. With that fleece, we have a plan for Adhara! In looking at Adhara's fleece, it's a strong combination of everything good from her parents -- it has beautiful crimp and bundling with an extremely fine micron and wonderful handle. Adhara was shown as a yearling at the 2022 CAC/CAP Show, and she garnered first place in a Halter class of whites, even though she has that rather obvious fawn spot in her blanket, and she took third in a tough Walking Fleece class! I think the Judge was considering Adhara for a RC banner in the halter class, but he just couldn't bring himself to do it because of that spot...it was obvious he liked both her fleece and conformation. Adhara's very promising as a step towards creating a highly evolved fleece character in a darker fleeced offspring! She'll be able to push color through. She's been bred to Man in the Moon's Rigel, a 5x Champion — see his webpage for more information, and we expect a high probability for a fawn cria of solid color with an absolutely phenomenal fleece! Can’t wait for this cria! UPDATE: Adhara’s cria finally arrived after a 379 day gestation! She didn’t deliver on the color, but she graced us with a beige female cria that looks extremely promising! Stay tuned! Adhara also showed at the 2021 MAPACA as a Juvie and she definitely got dinged for having the spot in her blanket, but Judge Wade Gease said he kept her in at 4th because of her bright fleece, fineness and her uniformity across the blanket—while mentioning that spot. Despite the spot, we repeated this breeding with hope for another little girl just like Adhara...minus the spot would be a bonus, but we'll take it either way with this high quality fleece! Adhara's full sibling arrived and her name is Carina! We bred their dam, Venus, back to their sire, Ganymede, for yet another full sibling. Can't wait to see him or her in Spring of 2023!…And wow!!! Adhara has a full brother, Centaurus, and he’s just amazing — perhaps the best yet from this pairing of Adhara’s dam and sire! Looking forward to the 2024 full sibling, and she arrived: Astra is her name and she’s stunning! P.S. Adhara is a star in the constellation Canus Majora

We saw Night Skye before she was 3 months old and before she even had an official name -- she was known as "Twinkle Toes," and I'm sure she has no idea what the name on her certificate actually is. We were already quite familiar with her stellar herdsire, STF Skywalker, and her fleece character at that tender young age won us over. Skye was bred to Amber Autumn Blue Northern, a gorgeous multi champion & Judges Choice winning silver gray male in early 2023, and she delivered a beautiful dark brown female carbon copy of herself on New Year’s Day. It was a great start to 2024! She has been bred to CCNF Tristan for a Fall 2025 cria. Can't wait to see what they produce! UPDATE: We’ll, it only took a year—367 days to be exact! Twinkle Toes delivered a gorgeous light fawn female on 11/25/25. More info coming soon. When we brought her home, she was (and still is) one of the most interesting alpacas ever! She's a verbal little girl with a constant "cluck, cluck, clucking..." At first she wouldn't really let me get near her, and if I got too close, she'd turn on her heels and push out a big kick! But in just a couple of weeks, she became curious enough to get close and go nose to nose. And about 2.5 weeks in she actually let me touch her -- relaxing enough to lay down beside me. She quickly became a farm favorite -- content to follow our guests around or lay at their feet. Pregnancy is a whole different game for TT, though. She prefers to stay in the background. Such a jekel & hyde character, she is. Our friend, Sharon Rainey, honed in on Skye’s outgoing personality the very first time they met. They were so comfortable together that Skye took her very first treat from a human hand during that visit—Sharon’s hand. Sharon quickly accepted our offer to become Skye’s co-owner. So, TT is one of those "forever" girls. Her cria will be offered for sale, but TT needs to stay.

Rowena is a quality foundation female—gorgeous reddish brown fleece, perfect conformation, outstanding genetics and a calm and endearing personality—and don’t forget those fuzzy ears! Rowena has been an excellent mom, with tons of milk and great affection for her crias. Rowena has been bred to Cerberus, a son of National Supreme Champion, Ganymede. Cerberus‘s first cria was born on a friend’s farm, and at his first show, he won first place in an incredibly competitive class at the 2026 AOA National Show! Cerberus was able to pull color (medium fawn) while bred to a white dam, so we are hoping for a fawn colored offspring, just because it is our favorite color alpaca.

Ultrasound positive on 8/15/26!! Elsie is a shy, but sweet girl that holds all of the fleece characteristics we strive for. She has top 5% EPDs in 5 categories! Her 2023 histogram stats and EPD's are at almost 9 years old! Her fleece was the finest on the Alpaca Palace farm the year she was born, and it is a lasting fineness. Elsie is also a very mild mannered girl, which is always nice. Elsie has been bred to Man in the Moon’s Zenon, for a spring 2027 cria. Zenon is a beautiful champion male that brings genetics from Zagato, Zagato‘s Zumba, and National Supreme Champion, Man in the Moon’s Ganymede—all having produced multiple champions themselves. Elsie is a great mom -- textbook birthing with plenty of milk, and she's attentive to her crias. She’s had 5 registered crias. Elsie is gentle and easy to care for, and she's in excellent health. We’re reducing the size of our herd, but also planning to retain more of our homegrown offspring than we have in the past, making this is a great opportunity to purchase a nice proven production female at a reasonable price. NOTE for OPENHERD AUCTION SALES: Auction reserve is set higher than price, as a fully executed contract is needed to complete the sale.

Fiona is an "oldie, but goodie!" When offered the opportunity to purchase Fiona, we jumped at the chance...why? Fiona produced Finola, who produced CNTRL Ganymede's Hannah B, and we already have Ganymede. While we don't know if the strong genetics of Finola that passed on to Hannah, the AOA #4 High Point Female of 2022 with 22 Championships and 4 Judges Choice Banners, were predominantly from Finola's dam or from her sire, Fiona surely passed forward a portion of her genetic makeup! While this might be her last offspring, Fiona has been bred to Ganymede’s son, Cerberus, for a Fall 2026 cria! This offspring should be outstanding. Even at her age, Fiona's maintaining incredible fineness, great density, handle, character, and uniformity to her fleece. She's a true gem, and she's produced champions herself. She has been ultra healthy and easy to care for. She also has a very sweet personality. NOTE for OPENHERD AUCTION SALES: Auction reserve is set higher than price, as a fully executed contract is needed to complete the sale. Please give us a call or send an email if you're interested in any of our Openherd auction offers. Note: MMFA offers its best pricing on packages of three or more alpacas.
